Cilantro’s Mexican Grill established its original location as Cilantro Cocina Mexican Restaurant and has been proudly serving the North Houston community since March of 2004. Cilantro Cocina provides excellent service, delicious fajitas, and mouth-watering margaritas and is conveniently located on FM 1960 at I-45 north. The Cilantro’s family of restaurants now operates three locations in Spring, The Woodlands and Willis and continues to serves an even larger North Houston area, with the same warm and festive environment and welcoming friendly service. Each location has its own unique décor, relaxing surrounding, and comfortable seating where guests can feel at home.

This is our go to lunch spot. They have a great lunch menu with great prices. Also, if you sit in the bar they have great HH specials for both food and drinks.

By far the best Mexican restaurant in the Spring/Woodlands area. The service is always amazing. The food is delicious and made with high quality ingredients. Cilantros is hands-down one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. The service is outstanding from the moment you walk in—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling rushed. The food portions are huge and absolutely worth it; you definitely get your money’s worth, and everything comes out fresh and flavorful. Parking is another big win—the lot is spacious and easy, which makes the whole experience stress-free. And let’s not forget the cherry on top: the ice cream machine. It’s the perfect way to end a great meal and honestly just seals the deal. Cilantros nails it on food, service, and convenience. Highly recommend. Hopefully they build a location in Conroe.

The fajitas were really good here. I love a place that seasons their meat. To me the beef was better than the chicken, but both were good. I like the salsa they would give you to. They don’t tell you about it, but they will give you free green sauce if you just ask for it. You also get free ice cream.

Great service, several staff members were very solicitous.
Carnitas for two were plenty, perhaps a bit less than fantastic since they have to be reheated.
Guacamole was ok; cilantro -we should have asked for.
Served in hot iron plate, nice to keep carnitas and onions hot.
Tortillas made on site, very good. Salsa was too mild, asked for red salsa a bit spicier.

We rented the banquet room on the first floor to celebrate the night before our wedding. The room comfortably fits 60 to 80 individuals. The food and dessert options were amazing!

Margaritas are the bomb! Hope you have a tolerance if you get more than one. They have a bar and seating where you can smoke if you choose to.
But it doesn’t smell bad or affect the other half of the restaurant you can’t even tell if people are smoking. I don’t know how they do it but you can’t smell the cigarettes unless you’re sitting in the smoking area or smoking yourself.
Chips and dip come as soon as you sit down. Free of charge, no extra chip and dip fee. They bring red salsa but you can also ask for green also.
Oh and they have half price bar food or appetizers I think it’s between 2 and 4pm. But that’s great.
Oh also I have a lot of my business meetings here during the day because they have free WiFi And it’s quiet.
The same management has been working here as long as I can remember. Same bar tender that knows everyone.
On Friday and Saturday nights the bar is like the cool place to be. I’ve been going there for about 12 years now . Like family they know you when you start going.
I also love that they have an ice cream machine so when you’re done with your meal or drink you get a free ice cream cone of your choice . Vanilla, chocolate or swirl. Just make it yourself as you’re walking out. Also, it’s in a shopping center. There’s like a phone store a hair salon a Botox place and some other things around there so if you’re waiting to get your hair done, you can go over there and have a quick bite.
I am a Hair Stylist and I used to work at Posh 2 doors down in the shopping center. I would go over there and eat sometimes while my clients were processing their color. It’s quick especially if they know you are in a rush.
There is a back private room if you need to hold a meeting . Very large.
It’s the best place around here has all your needs and cheese burgers and French fries.

The food had great taste. The frozen drinks melted in seconds from getting them. The food took about an hour to get. Other people were coming in, eating and leaving and our table was still waiting for the food. We ate about 4 baskets of chips and salsa. The wait staff were nice and helpful with questions.

First time here and had a wonderful experience with expert customer service. The tables, restaurant, and bathrooms were immaculate. The servers Angie, Anselmo, and Jasper catered to our every needs without us asking for a thing! They were cleaned shaved, and pressed and professional attire. The team work they displayed was exceptional and the food was great. Way to go guys!

My favorite Mexican food of all time right down the street from my house. Super fast service with the strongest margaritas ever. I do all my business meetings here because they also offer free Wi-Fi. But I have to be careful because one margarita will get you tipsy but two somebody might have to carry you out. Also there’s a bar and you can smoke there but it doesn’t smell up the restaurant I don’t know how they do it the food is fast that drinks are good and the restaurant doesn’t stink! They also have cheeseburgers that I can bring home to my kids they really like them and their French fries. I don’t know how they do it but I’m glad they do!!
The picture is tortilla soup. It’s amazing and filling. I just got the small cup I can’t imagine eating a larger size. But they have a larger size. I like to get there cheese enchiladas a lot and their chips are unlimited they just keep bringing them ask for the green salsa. I have to be careful here because I got to keep her professional but the Margaritas are banging. Oh did I mention so affordable? Very affordable. Call ahead of time to pick up. Or you can have it delivered by doordash I wanted to delivery services. They also have little arcade machines in the back for the kids and I believe kids eat free on Sundays. Easy parking, plenty of space Even when they are busy. Just go trust me!
