I visited this establishment around 3 p.m., and it immediately stood out as a fairly large sports bar with an impressive number of big-screen TVs and an amply sized bar area. The atmosphere leans on the darker side, but that fits the traditional sports-bar vibe and adds to its cozy, laid-back feel.

As for the food—it’s genuinely delicious. We ordered the Leche de Tigre with fried calamari and the Shrimp Chaufa, and both dishes exceeded expectations. The Leche de Tigre was fantastic, bursting with bright, lemony acidity that paired perfectly with the fresh cuts of fish and the crisp calamari. It was balanced, refreshing, and loaded with flavor.

The Shrimp Chaufa was equally impressive. It had a rich, savory tomato-based profile, and the shrimp were cooked beautifully—plump, juicy, and full of flavor. It’s a dish I would absolutely come back for.

The staff also deserves recognition. Service was prompt, attentive, and friendly throughout the visit, making the experience even better.

Overall, I highly recommend this spot for its excellent dishes and upbeat sports-bar atmosphere. A great place to catch a game and enjoy genuinely delicious food.

My coworkers and I dropped by for lunch yesterday based on a recommendation. Everything was delicious—the wonton soup, the parihuela, the arroz con pollo, and the choritos a la chalaca. The only thing was the leche de tigre; it was a bit too sour. They offered to swap it or fix it, but we just left it as is since it wasn’t a huge deal.
The highlight was definitely Estefani’s service. She was so charismatic, super attentive, and friendly. She kept a smile on her face the whole time and was really patient with those of us who couldn’t decide what to order. Such a great addition to the team! 10/10 for Estefani! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐We’ll definitely be back.

I only ordered the ceviché, to go, It was good. It wasn’t packaged great. Came with a sweet potato and a regular potato. It was the middle of the day, in the middle of the week, so no one was there. Nice place, huge screens showing a soccer game. Kinda pricey.

My husband immigrated from Peru, being a native, grown up and lived there through adulthood, he knows Peruvian food. I have learned from him what authentic Peruvian food is supposed to taste like. While we do understand things will taste a bit different here than in Peru, it can taste more authentic than Contigo Peru offers.
We went several years ago and wasn’t impressed. We went today because I was craving lomo saltado and it was one of the few Peruvian restaurants open on NYE. I called ahead of time to make sure it was open, but got no real answer except that someone picked up the phone. The lady only said “No English”
After eating there we remembered why we hadn’t gone back. Food was mediocre. The only thing that tasted good was the oysters with lime juice (Ostinones en su concha)
My lomo was meh…not the worst or best. The beef tasted a few days old in the fridge. My husband ordered seco de res a la nortena. The plate had noticeable too much grease all round and in it. Not the flavor he was expecting.
The real shocker was the 18% “service charge” we were hit with after we received out bill. We did not see this on the menu, or anywhere else. It’s possible that we missed it, however. The bottom of the bill presented to us had the first real mention of it “parties of 3 or more subject to an 18% service fee”
What places regularly charge for such small parties?
They don’t speak any English, but can print in English on the bill. huh….kinda ironic.
We we not won over this time and this will be our final visit ever. Next time I am craving Lomo, I will wait till I get to Sabor Inka. Their food is the best Peruvian food we have found so far. Their lomo is the best!

My family and I have been loyal customers of this restaurant for many years. However, our loyalty ended today due to a horrible experience.
The food was unacceptable. The ceviche was so excessively salty it was inedible, and the chicken was undercooked (raw) and completely flavorless.
To make matters worse, the service was equally poor. When we complained about the quality of the food, the staff refused to replace the dishes or remove the items from our bill, stating dismissively, ‘They tried it and it was fine.’
We were charged for food we literally could not eat.
Because of the atrocious food quality and the unacceptable response from the staff, this restaurant has permanently lost a client of many years. I couldn’t even give them a 1 star –

Came to visit this restaurant on a Wednesday for lunch with my friend. I enjoyed my meal, while my friend said hers was overwhelmingly salty. She only had 2 bites out of it.

Other than that my food was delicious . The atmosphere is chill and the music is enjoyable. The decoration is lovely and all the Latino/Spanish flags give off a warming welcome feeling to the consumer. This restaurant is nice and clean. Especially the bathroom. It was spotless and they even had little listerine cups for the fresh clean mouth experience after enjoying their food. I thought that was awesome!!. Service lady was ok. You should come and try for yourself. You’ll be delighted. ☺️

Been wanting to try this place for years, but didn’t know what to expect since the place looks more like a night club than a restaurant. It is dim inside even during daytime, but the lively music and pleasant hosts and servers made it inviting. Overall, the food is decent and I liked the mussels and the pisco sour the most.

We went to see the South American qualifiers and the atmosphere was incredible, excellent animation, giant screens, very good music

We ate a ceviche as a starter which was very tasty,

I ordered tallarines verdes which was a great choice, I recommend it

The lomo saltado is also very tasty.

We had a bad experience with the Ribeye, the meat smelled very bad and we asked to change it, they brought us another one in the same conditions, with a damaged smell and taste

We told the Manager that without saying a word he removed the dishes without at least excusing himself for that bad experience, as if it had bothered him that we had a complaint for having brought us twice a meat in bad condition, being clear that this situation is not our fault. He should have appropriated the situation a little more since it is something delicate.

We will be back, we understand that things like this can happen and we were the unfortunate ones, we hope everything goes well next time.

A bit ghetto but food is incredibly good. Do not sit at the bar if you want good service. Sat at the bar with 2 working bar tenders and never got offered a second beer. Had to flag them down to get my check some hot sauce because they don’t ever check back after delivering food.
I had other experiences here at a table with waitresses and had way better service.
