Went to have lunch with family. Got put on a list to be seated. There were at least 8 empty tables. Sat for 20 mins waiting to be seated while 8 employees were bsing at the main counter. Finally got seated, host asked us if we needed a kids menu and we said yes. He never came back. Sat for another 10 mins and never had a server come over. Looking around at the other tables they seemed to be waiting and looking around like they were waiting for service as well. Needless to say I will not be coming back to this location.

I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding my recent experience at your Village Inn location.
Due to a previous negative dine-in experience, I specifically chose takeout this time in hopes of avoiding further issues. Unfortunately, this visit was even more frustrating.
Upon arriving home, we realized that half of our order was missing. We returned to the restaurant to retrieve the missing hashbrowns. After returning home again, we then discovered that my child’s meal was also missing, requiring yet another trip back. By the time the order was finally complete, the food was cold due to the repeated drives back and forth caused by these errors.
Before returning again, I attempted to resolve the situation by phone. I called the restaurant 11 separate times, and no one answered. This lack of responsiveness made an already frustrating situation significantly worse.
When I was finally able to reach the store and asked to speak with a manager, I was told the manager was unavailable because he was also the sole cook working that day. I was then hung up on mid-conversation. Being dismissed and hung up on while trying to resolve an issue is completely unacceptable and highly unprofessional.
After three separate trips to correct mistakes that should not have occurred in the first place, I ultimately returned the entire order and demanded a refund, as the food was no longer usable and the experience had become unnecessarily stressful and time-consuming.
At this point, it is difficult to understand how this location can continue operating under these conditions. If the restaurant is unable to properly staff, answer phones, complete orders accurately, or provide basic customer service, it would honestly be better for the store to temporarily close rather than continue providing this level of service to customers.
As a paying customer, I expect:
• Orders to be complete and accurate
• Food to be served hot and fresh
• Professional and respectful customer service
This experience failed in all of these areas.

Fast friendly service. Really enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant. There are many choices of seating to accommodate large or small parties. Child friendly.
Nice windows for outdoor viewing.
I look forward to dining here again.

Had an average sized party, only three other groups in the restaurant. It took about an hour to receive our meals. I ordered the “Royal Mountie” but had asked for the English muffin bun to be subbed for a regular burger bun… I received a “Patty Melt” which if I am being honest was more like partially cooked beef topped with unmelted cheese. Not a bit of it was melted and was not what I ordered or expected to receive. Unfortunately, I told them I’d deal with it instead of waiting another 45 minutes since I had other obligations after our meal/punishment. My mother in law ordered a sandwich and asked for no tomatoes due to an allergy and received her meal with tomatoes included. We asked for hers to be remade and only received her meal after we told the waiter to tell the kitchen to cancel the order. I don’t typically leave negative reviews but wow. Even my daughter’s kids breakfast was wrong since they kindly omitted the fruit that was supposed to come with it. I’m posting this as a warning, nothing about our meal was comforting nor prepared properly. I’d leave negative stars if it were possible. I would have rather eaten a gas station tuna on white bread sandwich. Worst $50 ever spent. We will not be returning, best of luck to those of you who do. This used to be one of the few restaurants you could count on but I can sincerely say that is no longer the case.

First visit since the renovation. Service was solid and attentive. Food was pretty good. We had a spread from soup, pancakes, chicken fried steak, burgers and salads. We were all happy with our choices. Enjoyable experience.

Staff was very pleasant and nice. Restaurant was clean. I ordered roast beef with green beans and a breakfast skillet with bacon and sausage. However, I always recreate my meals with extra so I added roast beef on top of my breakfast skillet to top it off and oh boy! oh boy! it was so tender and yummy.

We went for dinner and had cockroaches climbing on our booth. I suggest people eat elsewhere! Thank’s for the offer but how can you have so many roaches in your restaurant that they’re crawling on the benches and tables and say you didn’tknow there was a problem. We will pass on your offer as obviously the restaurant operates in filth and we have no desire to ever come back!

Tonight I had one of the best Cobb salad, excellent side of corn and a memorable slice of triple berry pie. Excellent corn? Yes! This corn was roasted on the cob seasoned with a little bit of garlic and presented as you can see below. Some of the best corn I have ever eaten. It was fresh, sweet, and corny. The Cobb salad was made with farm fresh ingredients; a far cry from the Cobb salads offered in the big cities. If you look at the picture you’ll see one chicken breast; What makes these chicken breasts different is that they were roasted on one side. That’s a gourmet technique. I didn’t ask if the triple berry pie was baked in the house, but it was richly flavored. I had the pie heated which is why it slumped. I like to play with my food and took small bites of the pie to see if I could tell the difference between the boysenberries, raspberries and the blueberries. To my astonishment I could tell when I breathed. By the way, my compliments to my focused and charming Server (Sydni) whose insightful suggestions made this meal all the more memorable. It’s beautiful since the remodel, but still same unsatisfactory service. They never include utensils in to go or online orders, they have pies available to choose from, let you order, then come back with “sorry we don’t have that” Do not offer the ability to order pies if you can’t fulfill said orders. It’s not out of stock, you just don’t want to make anymore. We need an IHOP in this town
