I didn’t know or realize this was here until I was going to lunch with someone and they suggested this place. It’s in the spot where “Fare” used to be, so I didn’t realize it switched. But glad she suggested coming here as I got to try a new place in the neighborhood. Got there right before noon on a Monday, so had my pick for seating options. By the time we left, the places has filled up a bit more. The place has a clean, bright airy feel with lighting that would probably give a sleek, modern bar vibe. Our server was good – friendly, sweet demeanor, attentive.
We ordered our own things, but kind of ended up sharing a couple of the items. I wasn’t super hungry, so I just ordered the Hummus spread which came with pita and the Calamari with a ginger ale. My friend got the Chicken Platter and Spanakopita. We both didn’t expect the platter to have as much food as it did for the lunch menu – it was a hefty serving! So I ended up eating some to help her out lol. Everything was pretty good taste wise and good portion sizes, as mentioned before.
I would come here again to try some other options and see if they have a happy hour given the nice vibe of the bar area.

Ive been to this restaurant a few times and never disappoints. I went during happy hour time and the cocktails are worth, but the size food portion for happy hour were too small, so we ordered from the regular menu. The chicken skewers dish that comes with pita and fries is really good, and my friend had roasted chicken with potatoes. Amazing.

Service was mediocre, pita bread came out cold and burnt. The food didn’t taste fresh. It tasted more like frozen lamb and frozen fries. The aesthetic was nice, super cute but my husband and I will not return.

I’ve gone to IosRestobar twice now and I must say both times the food was phenomenal. As a New Yorker I try not to give Philly too much credit lol, but I must say this is the best Greek restaurant I’ve been to. The lamb chops were so flavorful and tender. The spanakopita were amazing. And the calamari was perfect. This is definitely my go to Greek restaurant here in Philadelphia.

The food and drinks were delicious!! In addition to the flatbread and the shrimp appetizer, we also got a lamb gyro (which was massive). I took the gyro home and it lasted me 2-3 meals. Server was really nice and I will definitely be back.

Our waitress Anne and the manager Juan were personable and made us feel special and welcomed: the atmosphere was nice for my daughter and I and the food we got was delicious. Will go again.

This was the first time trying this place (where Fare was located). They’ve been under renovation for some time and my husband and I happened to walk by and they were open. Everything 11/10 – the food was immaculate. The ingredients were incredibly fresh and tasteful.
We got the lamb with Greek salad and truffle fries as well as lamb and beef gyro. We started off with a side of Hummus and Pita. Drinks during happy hour – spectacular: Santorini sour, posidonas posion, Greek goddess and water of Aegean.
Would recommend to any and everyone. Sooo good

Wanted to try this new Greek restaurant out, looked good but definitely not worth the hype. Food really is sub-average. We got 1 of every HH item and only thing that was worth wild was the Feta dip. The chicken skewers were over cooked, and they had unseasoned cut up tomato/onion. Humus also was average really didn’t taste any better than store bought hummus. They unfortunately were not serving the meatballs for whatever reason. Service was also sub-average place was empty but took 25+mins for drinks. The fried zucchini/eggplant was essentially pure breading which tasted like oil without any seasoning. Wine is decently priced at $8 a cup. Besides the feta dip all else was sub-average. Had high hopes but was let down with food quality.
