I met friends at Carrollton Cafe Brazil for lunch. We could not get anyone to wait on us. It took several tries to flag a server down. Once we were able to order, our food was brought out in a decent amount of time, but it was placed in front of us quickly with the server darting away. We had no utensils, so I had to get up to find someone to get utensils. It was all a bit frustrating.
The food was REALLY GOOD, which was a nice surprise. I would give them another try to see if the service improves and if they just happened to be shorthanded on the day we went.

This was my friends and I first time trying Cafe Brazil, and our experience was subpar. We had a party of 7, but we felt like we were unseen. The server was not very attentive, I had to walk to the employee area to flag them for services. Our server did the bare minimum. The food was also subpar. My friend ordered the steak quesadilla, and he rates it a 3/5. There was so much grease that the torilla got soggy. I ordered the chicken and waffles, the chicken tenders were DRY, and no flavor. I rate my dish a 2/5. My wife ordered the loaded breakfast bowl w/ chorizo and ham, she rates it a 2.5/5. After mixing everything together, it got mushy and salty. My friend’s wife ordered CB Chorizo Empanada Breakfast and expected it to come out crispy. Instead, she had an empanada drowned in sauce, which made it soggy. Overall experience, I would not recommend this place. Overall rating, I give it a 3☆. It would’ve been a 2☆, but the owner treated us well when we had issues.

Cafe Brazil is now one of our favorite cafes in Carrollton, TX. We stumbled upon this cafe while searching online, and the bottomless coffee that they have is superb!
The food we have tried so far has been amazing and the service is quick.
This time, I got the burger and my wife got the tacos, and you can tell they care about the quality over quantity.
Both dishes were scrumptious!
I highly recommend this cafe for those that want quality food and endless coffee!

Haven’t had Brunch in a while so decided to try out an interesting place nearby during our stay and found this gem! There’s a really great selection of coffee (20 or so types!) that you can fill bottomless for $3. Service was a bit slow since they were understaffed but they did their utmost to make sure we were happy and we were. The food items were all very richly made and tasted wonderful. I really loved the spinach chicken crepe especially!

I was completely amazed at the Gooooodness!! I’m an honest reviewer, at first I was a little nervous but the food did NOT disappoint. I had the Bananas Foster Waffle SO good!! I’ve never had anything like like! It was a flavor burst of goodness. The serve was amazing!! This is definitely a place you want to add to your regulars. Oh! And the coffee bar was Tops!! I got the pecan praline coffee ☕ This is a hidden JEWEL in Carrollton ❤️ Loved it!!

It would have been nice to be acknowledged by the many staff members who were there when we walked in but that’s all fine. But to not be acknowledged for a good 3-4 minutes while there were two tables with customers in the entire place, and then not be seated for another couple of minutes while some of the workers were twiddling their thumbs behind the bar was a little painful to be honest.
Half of our table’s order was good and the other half was bad. I will cut to the chase and say don’t get their loaded breakfast bowl. It had an ocean of oil sitting at the bottom of the bowl. Every time I took a bite I felt like I was eating spoonfuls of oil from a warmed up pan. The dish also had tons of old and dry green onion as garnish and it just didn’t work for me. I did end up sending this back but service was so slow that I didn’t get to replace it. Ended up just having a protein shake I brought from home. The chicken crepes were good, though. The crepes had a nice texture, it wasn’t falling apart. The chicken and veggies were cooked well and the spicy sauce on top had a tiny little kick that was just perfect. It also came with potatoes and toast on the side which were also good.
The most important thing that brought us back here was the coffee bar with unlimited refills and THAT was worth it. They had seven flavors total – two of those were decaf and one was a dark roast. It is October and they brought out their holiday blend coffee which I highly recommend. Some other flavors they had were Brazil select, bourbon pecan (reg and decaf), snickerdoodle, holiday blend (also in a decaf), and Kilimanjaro dark.
We sat outside and the tables were pretty old and gross looking but I guess that happens sometimes.
The waitress was not really around and we were never even told about the seasonal menu that was posted on a board inside. That was disappointing to find out later as we checked out but I guess it will bring us back to try it next time.
Generally I still recommend this place because although the food may be hit or miss, their coffee bar is really fun and worth it. Not to mention the quirky feel of the place and plentiful amounts of parking.
*Don’t forget to ask for a to-go cup and grab yourself that one last cup of coffee of your choice for the road!

Glad we tried this place! Food was delicious. Server was efficient and friendly. Kitchen was on the slow side but the food was so good and flavorful. Chicken fried steak did not look good but it was very good! Menu has lots of variety, we’ll be back to try more.

This place is a little short staffed but they have help wanted signs posted, so it seems like they’re actively working on that. The server was nice. The bacon was crispy and delicious. I really wanted to like the rest of the food but it was only okay. Best part was potatoes and eggs. The chorizo empanada wasn’t great. One person dining with me really liked the chicken bacon waffles, and the portion sizes were great.
