If i could rate 0 stars i would. This is absolutely ridiculous. We spent $45 on 3 items & theyre all messed up. We ordered through the app around 8:20. The order said it would be ready by 8:30. My husband showed up and the order wasn’t done. Mind you the store was EMPTY, one lady was already having an issue with her order. We live right behind the restaurant, my husband didnt get home until AFTER 9PM. They were waiting for “more steak”. His nachos were cold and soggy, and where was the steak??? We counted 5 pieces. My burrito? Wrong sauce. I asked for mild and they put the hatch chili on it. Gross. Also why is the burrito cold if my husband had to wait for the food?? The chicken quesidilla didnt have the right chicken or the hot sauce. Burrito & nachos were tossed & my kid ate the quesidilla. The girl told my husband, dont worry we threw in something extra for the wait, also here’s some drinks. He gets home, NOTHING ELSE IS IN THE BAG. What is going on here?? Who is running this kitchen?! Of course theyre closed now, but id like to hear from a manager. This is absolutely ridiculous.

Me and my daughters went too get nachos last Sunday March 1st. After eating a little more than half of it nachos we notice our chicken was raw. I went to the counter and showed an employee. The employee went to the back and told the manager. The employee came back out and had us fill out an instant report. I sat down and filled out the incident report about 15 minutes later I went back up to the counter to give them the incident report and the manager came out. Mind you by now it’s been about 25 minutes since I found the raw chicken. The manager apologizes and I say to her you need to get the chicken off the line. She says yes I’m gonna do that right now. Mind you it is now been 25 minutes and how many people have they served since we were served? I would not eat at this location. The chicken should’ve been taken off the line immediately!!

There has been a noticeable decline in the speed of service and quality of food at this location. My past two takeout orders were missing half the toppings and a takeout order during dinner takes about 15-20 minutes longer than the quoted time. Takeout orders are pointless here. Like the last review left for this location, it’s quicker to wait in line than place a takeout order.
Better training is needed. It was so gross to see the person handling the orders adjusting their paints and wiping their face with the same pair of gloves.

That was the worst food. Some of it I couldn’t even eat. There was like no rice in the bowl and the chicken was hard and my queso stinks and is all oily and my guacamole is super brown and looks old and even browner at the bottom… threw most of it away. Super disappointed.

Outstanding First Visit to Café Rio – Store #017!
I recently visited Café Rio (Store #017) for the first time, and I have to say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! The food was fresh and delicious, but what really stood out was the spectacular customer service.
I was warmly welcomed and assisted by Timothy, Susan, and Paula, who went above and beyond to make my visit enjoyable. Timothy was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, helping me navigate the menu with great recommendations. Susan made sure my order was perfect and checked in to see if I needed anything else. And Paula had such a positive attitude that made the experience even more enjoyable.
The team at Café Rio truly cares about their customers, and it shows in the way they interact and serve with a smile. It’s not often you find such genuine hospitality, and it made my first visit here unforgettable.
If you’re looking for great food and even better service, I highly recommend stopping by Café Rio #017. I will definitely be returning! Huge thanks to Timothy, Susan, and Paula for making my visit so special!

I’ve never walked out of Cafe Rio feeling this grossed out and disappointed. I watched the employee preparing food touch her face/hat, then go right back to making food with the same gloves. Minutes later she handled the store/company phone with those same gloves and returned to preparing food—no glove change, no reset. That’s basic food safety, and it was completely ignored.
Honestly, I’m scared I might get sick after eating there, and I’m writing this so other customers are aware and can make an informed decision. To make it worse, they were basically out of meat options—shredded chicken was the only meat available.
Between the unsanitary food handling and the lack of menu options, I’m not coming back. Management needs to step in, retrain staff, and tighten standards because this is exactly the kind of thing the health department should see.

This is getting ridiculous. I had a similar experience at another cafe rio but never this one, now I’ll have to go to blue diamond.
Ordered at 7pm, just two bowls, says order ready by 720pm. I show up 720 and foods not even started. Guy said they’re behind but there’s no one in line and like two people in the whole restaurant? 730pm hits people come in and order and get their food. I’m still here 735pm. They said “grilled chicken takes extra time”. It’s almost 40 minutes now and no food. Just two bowls. What the heck. There’s no one in line, this is insane.
Quick edit. I’ve been here over 20 minutes past my order ready time. 5 people have come in line, ordered food, got their food, left.
Quick edit 2. Grilled chicken sat on a cutting board for 10 minutes before being added to the bowl. Can’t make this up. My steak bowl was super cold when I ate it. Tortillas were stale. Maybe it’s just a night-shift issue, who knows.

She was absolutely amazing in helping me with my order, making sure everything was perfect, especially since I had placed a separate order on the app before arriving. The restaurant was spotless, and the food was incredibly fresh! The ladies preparing our food were so friendly and welcoming, adding to the fantastic experience. This has always been my favorite location, and I I’ll definitely make the extra drive just to enjoy this outstanding service again it was definitely worth it!

Terrible customer service. Our order was messed up and items were missing. The store wasn’t even busy, it was empty! I called to get a refund and the girl I spoke to clearly doesn’t like her job. She hung up on me without saying bye or thank you as if they didn’t mess up the order! She was combative and annoyed from the beginning of the phone call. We typically order catering from Cafe Rio and this experience made sure it was our last! There are plenty of businesses in Vegas/Henderson that have better customer service. Disappointing overall.
