First night visiting family in Fullerton, I stopped by here after H Mart to grab some bread for everyone — and omg I was so surprised at how cheap everything was. We seriously need an 85°C on the East Coast ASAP.
Also, the sea salt coffee… absolute fire. I ended up getting it every single day while I was in town, and this location had one of the best versions I’ve tasted. Great prices, great quality — definitely a must-stop whenever I’m in the area.

Great location with great choices. We got the coconut twist, white chocolate cookie and sea salt iced coffee. Good service.

I would leave a zero star review of this place if i COULD. I ordered a strawberry matcha and received a SOUR brownish grey drink with no matcha taste. I can easily describe this drink as a sour strawberry milk. I am almost certain that the oat milk used was rotten because ive never tasted such sour drink? It was also $6.50 each for this trash so im very disappointed.
I did not talk a photo of this nasty brown sour drink when i got it, but i did just take a photo of it an hour later.
We both got the same drink yet both of us tasted the sour and milk taste. it was not an individual thing

This store is racist toward just wearing not satisfied clothing. I played airsoft at Fullerton and was hungry before going casa. As I stopped buy this store for grubs. As I walked in employees where staring at me because I was wearing military outfit with patch on outfit. As I picked up 3 breads and paid. Since I was weak after playing airsoft. I needed 2 grub some food 2 charge me up. But soon as I finished paying employee guy came 2 me asked to leave the store because of my military outfit. Which caused there customers complain. On going process I told him why not told me before I paid. And told want refund. He said store can’t refund after purchase because plastic cover was touched. I told him I’m going 2 write bad review on this matter. 85 degree is bad customer service and racist. And they have bad pizza bread it was under cooked and stayed in store for more than 2 days after I ate one in the car. Don’t go 2 this store. Bad bread, bad service, and racist.

I’m a regular at 85 Bakery with all our locations in orange county. Their pastries is very reasonable price. Today review is for Vietnamese coffee which tastes very tasty except today that is way overly sweet! No complaint other than that. The red bean buns some locations taste perfect with less sweet. Some are very sweet. Not very consistent.

This location is in a very popular area so if you can first manage to find parking somehow then you’re in for a treat.
I can really appreciate this location for actually having a functional self-serve kiosk for drinks cuz it really cuts down on my wait time. Pro tip: order your drink first and THEN go in line to order the rest of your pastries and cake.
Like all other 85C bakeries, there’s always a variety of freshly baked goods. The team here is really sweet and attentive.
If you don’t have an account for their rewards membership I highly recommend it. They always have a great monthly treat and it always brings me right back!

HORRIBLE customer service!!! LUCY was the one who rang me up and she is just horrible. As she rings up my order, she asks me if I wanted to pay for a bag. It caught me off guard as bags or boxes were always a part of their service. So I say, so you charge for bags now? She says, “yeah, like any other store.” First, saying yes would have answered my question, but she had to add “just like any other store.” I feel that she is being intentionally confrontational with this statement. Although I did not say this, 85 is not like “any other store” in that it is not a grocery store or convenience store. It is a BAKERY. I have yet to encounter bakery that charges for bags. But even if it’s just me that hasn’t found one, that kind of comment is not necessary. Also, I carried all my pastries on the tray, so as she rings me up, she removed some items from the tray and puts them on the counter. Understandable as she needs to be thorough in the charges. But after she rings me up and I pay, she just stands there. Half of the items on the counter and half on the tray. Doesn’t move. She just stands there staring at me. Doesn’t say Thank You or anything. Literally just stands there and stares at me. I felt that she was being confrontational and was almost challenging me to say something about the state of my pastries. I nearly demanded a refund of my $45!!!! Absolutely unbelievable. To add to this experience, I went to an open table while waiting for my drinks and the table was sticky and just gross. I understand that they have multiple responsibilities, but if you offer seating where you can eat and drink, the tables should be attended to frequently. It is not just a matter of customer service, it is also a matter of health safety.
