So it’s been about 19 years since I’ve last been here, now being back in Washington for a short visit, I went back with my mom and my fiance, just for nostalgias sake.
It’s changed alot since the last time I was here with both of my parents.
The Asian style buffet is still as I remember, but… to me, the food was okay.
Filling at best. But we came here just for the nostalgia.
If you’re looking for a buffet styled place, this is your obvious go to, it seems like they’re pretty popular, but who wouldn’t enjoy a good plate of Asian food?
But again, I leave it all to personal preference. And this was just a good nostalgic trip down memory lane.
Don’t let my opinion stop you from trying a food place like this, especially if you’re looking for just a buffet to eat at. They’re quite good. But my opinion still differs having come from The Hawaiian Islands where we’re spoiled with rich Asian foods on a daily. Lol.
Please. Try kings wok buffet and judge it for yourself with your own preferences. 🙂

Absolutely disconcerting on prices and the cleanliness of this place! We have been here twice and will be the last. Prices online DO NOT match the actual prices. They are 10$ more when you get there. The place was a sauna. It was so hot in there. Even though the sushi was on ice it was so warm we couldn’t eat it. People go here for the free crab. There is never any because families pile high 4-5 plates of crab and seafood and take them to their tables at a time. The walls are filthy and the temperature of the dining room is so hot I feel like they make it that way to get people out of there but it doesn’t work. I see people sleeping in booths and then getting up to get more after they wake up. Super weird.

This is our favorite buffet this side of Puget Sound! (Always are stopping by whenever in this area)
SO VERY WORTH IT!
Good selection of everything – starting with your regular seafood dishes, crab legs on weekends, salad bar, sushi and desserts… but also a STEAK grilling station, and 8 different flavors of ice cream!

Typical Asian buffet fare. They do have a hibachi grill where you choose what you want and they will make it for you. Plenty of dessert options as well, including Blue Bunny ice cream. They did a good job bussing tables and cleaning around the food displays to maintain a cleaner environment. The bathroom was well kept as well. This is always a staple whenever I visit the area, nice to see it hasn’t changed much. Giving three stars as I wish there was more of a variety of food, including putting wontons in the actual wonton soup.

It’s been a while since I’ve been to kings wok. I’ve never had a bad experience here. For me, I enjoy the food and the choices they have. From the buffet sections, to the BBQ, to the wok section. The workers are nice and they’re always on top of making sure the food doesn’t run out.
Can’t wait to come back!

I have not been to Kings wok in many years. I am not usually a buffet person in general. But I needed a party type room for about 50 people that was easy to find and people could arrive any time within the 4 hour time I set for the party.
I brought my own table cloths and decorations. The only critique I would have is the chairs need to be renewed. Too many old torn chairs. Maybe different style chairs that are easier to clean and look better.
Other than that the staff was great and everyone enjoyed the variety of food offered. Great place for a large group. Everyone enjoyed it.
Thank you Maggie for your help!

I’ve heard a lot of good things about this place and wanted to try it out. We went as a large party and were asked if we wanted a big table. We said of course, as there were 8 of us. Beware !! They charged us $15 to sit at a large table together. This didn’t include anything except the table. The food was ok at best. The cucumbers in the sushi were almost see through and green. We did enjoy the crab legs, and the grill. Although, the steak was rather tough. Overall not worth the price in my opinion, but will try again at lunch sometime .

4 stars? Ok, hear me out. You got to come here hungry. You got to come here during peak meal hours. If you don’t mind eating out of styrofoam plates and plastic utensils and just wanted to enjoy quantity, this is the place for you. Food is well seasoned. There is a good variety that is kept fresh during peak meal hours. Visit, fill that hunger and enjoy.

This is the second time I have been here in the last three weeks and let me tell you, incredibly and wickedly cool. Fresh raw oysters, shrimp scampi on cockle shells, steamed clams and mussels. That’s mostly what I had. But the massive buffet had all types of food for every taste. Everyone was masked up and food service gloved up. Servers and other staff extremely kind and helpful. This is a must go to place. Clean, clean, clean I tell you. Thank you so much.
