07/20/2025-First time customer, no long line, nice professional staff, ordered the (1) Chicken Family Meal with three sides: fresh salad, string beans, fried plantains, and a beverage! Delicious! Yum! Yummy! Good and hot! All under $33.00. Ample parking front and rear! Nice interior! Nice Latin jazz music! A great place to eat!

I ordered a steak &chicken fajitas and 2 tilapia tocos. I got no tortillas no sauce. And when I inquired I was told that it was not their fault they have a lot of people in here. Me and my husband decided to dine in a few weeks ago. Food was served warm not even hot fresh, when it came out. We ordered chicken, steak and shrimp fajitas, the shrimp smelled and tasted spoiled. When I went to let the you lady in the front know what was served to us, she caught an attitude and was being nasty. Then when I went back to eat the chicken and steak it all just was bad. I later got sick from the food that night. And we won’t be returning back as customers.

This is by far the worst Sylvester’s location in the area. On August 18 around 8 PM, we placed an order and my friend picked it up, I then discovered the order was completely wrong. We tried calling back before closing, but no one answered the phone.
On Thursday, August 21, I went back to this location to hopefully be accommodated for their mistake and to at least receive decent customer service. Unfortunately, that did not happen. Even though I provided details such as the card used, order number, and pickup time, I was told by Christian, the supervisor, that without a physical receipt, I could not be accomodated even if it was their fault I received the wrong order. My meal was only $10 and the lack of customer service display how they truly feel about their customers-It’s the principal.This response was extremely disappointing, especially since the mistake was on their end and not mine.
I’ve been a loyal customer of Sylvester’s for almost 15 years, and I now go to the Indian Highway or Saint Barnabas Road locations where the food and service are consistently better. This location, however, failed in both areas. The fajita we ordered was poorly prepared—the peppers were were hard and some were soggy , and the only redeeming part was the shrimp, which was seasoned properly.
Overall, this experience showed both poor food quality and a complete lack of customer care. I cannot recommend this location, and I am very disappointed with how the situation was handled.

Food was good. I got the fried snapper. The wait was a little long but understandable. They gave a lot of food. The yellow rice wasn’t all that great and parking is horrible, that is the reason for the 4 stars. The people who work there were friendly.

Food Order: Grilled Chicken tacos, steak tacos and fish tacos
Tacos were not good. I prefer a corn tortilla or at least homemade. The meat on all three were dry. It tasted like a soft taco from Taco Bell. I would not recommend getting the tacos.
