We wanted to come to al di lá for a while and glad we finally did. Made a reservation beforehand since this place does get busy on the weekend and glad we did. The drinks were delicious, we got a nice recommendation from a gentleman working here. The pasta was good – definitely fresh and quality ingredients but that’s it. There’s a lot of pasta shops in the area and they all sit at the same level of taste. Would definitely stop by again if I was ever in the mood for pasta and wanted to eat out.

Great food, ambiance and selection. I will be returning again for dinner. My only gripe was it was a little tight for seating but other than that 5/5!

We have been coming here on and off for years and enjoyed the consistency of the dishes but last night we went for appetizers and pasta, ordered 2 portions of the Paccheri Pasta. We were shocked when it came out at the skimpiness of the portion. It was like they split one serving for both plates. I think for $28 a plate it was pretty cheeky to let that leave the kitchen and be sent to the table. In these more trying times the last place we want to see shrinkflation is when it gets put down in front of us at a restaurant we like, just sours the taste of the whole meal.

I came here on a cold Wednesday night with a good friend in early January who lives nearby. I’m not sure when he booked the reservation but I would recommend making a reservation as the restaurant seemed quite crowded, but not packed.

The restaurant is very quaint and feels like a neighborhood staple right when you come through the door. The food was good to great, but not amazing. The service was also good, but not exceptional. The cocktails and drink menu were also nice. This very much seems like the type of place where you would have want to have a nice meal with friends close to home.

I would recommend and I would go back.

This Italian restaurant is one of the few places in NYC where you’ll find rabbit on the menu—and it’s prepared exceptionally well. The pear cake was another highlight, perfectly balanced and memorable. The food remains consistently excellent, served in a warm, authentic setting. Also, returning after several years, we were thrilled to find the same high quality and familiar menu we remembered.

My colleague and I were in Brooklyn for a work trip and decided to try Al di Là Trattoria, and what a gem it turned out to be! We opted to dine at their wine bar, conveniently located right around the corner on Carroll Street, and it was the perfect selection.

The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was impeccable. Our bartender was the definition of professional, attentive. As for the food, the meal was absolutely delicious.

This is a must-visit spot in Carroll Gardens. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back next time we are in the area. A 5-star place for sure!

Amazing and unexpected delicious meal! It was rich and delicious! Everything we had was cooked to perfection.

Excellent service! The wine was paired perfectly. Bread in the mussels was so delicious. Great and comfortable ambiance. It’s so beautiful. It was comfortable, but not too casual.

So excited that I finally had an opportunity to try this Italian restaurant in Park Slope!
Food was INCREDIBLE. The pasta was fresh and wine was delicious. Squash ravioli was unbelievable – a MUST order.
Do not be deterred by the “second dining space” around the corner if the main dining room is full! I had a fabulous experience and would absolutely plan another dinner in the near future.

Rolling thru our tour of the world, well, Portugal and New York. We got to enjoy dinner in Brooklyn with a dear friend and she introduced us to their favorite Italian neighborhood stop. al di la Trattoria, they also have a market/bar on the back side. I started with a delicious Espresso martini and the ladies had a glass of red. My drink was great and 3 beans so I can live another day. The red wine was just ok. We started with their cuttlefish and oxtail over polenta. It’s sea salty and delicious
My love ordered the Taglitille and Ragu, pasta is delicious made in house. The Ragu was ok a little flat. Our friend had the Braised Rabbit over polenta wow this is amazing. So flavorful and delicious. I had the Mushroom Polenta with a fried egg. It was woodsie and rich. And of course the polenta is great.
My love and I got to share some amazing news with our friend. We so much appreciate her excitement and genuine hope and love for our future. It’s magical to share this adventure with you, can’t wait to see what’s next…thank you for saying yes, and really? Love you to the moon and back and 1,000 miles more.
