If your looking at reviews before going, this is your sign to stop and come here!! This was a super cool place! Prices seem good for what your getting and the sushi was very good. Only thing I didn’t like was octopus it was INSANELY chewy. It felt like I was eating a tire. Shotgun roll is my new favorite roll (pictured) it was the highlight of my time here. I will be back for that roll specifically. If you don’t know Japanese, sugoi means amazing, amazing is an understatement. These are by far some of the best sushi rolls I’ve had in my life!

Waited 20+ minutes never got the plate that was ordered. There were maybe 3 customers total. Guy next to me who arrived way later ordered a dish and got his within a few minutes. Had to chase down the server to pay, made me wait even longer as he helped new customers in then said “yeah sorry you never got your food” and just shrugged it off like it’s a common practice here.

Everything was good, the calamari bigger pieces were a bit tough and chewier. But the breading and light seasoning made but for the 2 of 6 pieces that were a bit tough. Came at opening on a Friday. Nice and chill, but a little cold in there. If you need them to make something in the back, order it first thing. I have been to a few of these places in Oregon and other states, it was pretty standard here. But one thing that stood out was there happy hour which is hard to find at these anymore. $2.95 all plates M-F 2-4

I’ve been going to this place for sushi for the last 4 years and have never been disappointed in the quality of food. I’ve also tried their hot options and I can confidently say that ALL of their food is to DIE for, even if it’s not my preferred set of flavors. I can’t name a place with better flavors honestly, and the service is almost always 100%. They recently had some new hires and one of the waitresses (I think her name was Kate or Katie) had amazing, contagious energy that made me feel at home.

Food is usually decent, average. Service is hit or miss. Today, no one ever came back to wait on me after giving me water. Out of the 5 people I could see working, they were all busy fulfilling online orders and I ended up leaving after 10 minutes without eating.

came here for a lunch date with my husband and the service was just not very good. we never got water refills, or asked if we wanted anything off the menu, even though we were sitting there looking at it. it took them another 5+ minutes of us sitting there to be asked if we were done and ready to be checked out. we were regulars here and this experience was just nowhere near the normal. very sad because its usually our favorite spot.
