Really enjoyed my experience here. The staff here are fast and get you in and out. My server Silvia helped to pick out my meal and the best way to order it. They’ve got a couple people making rounds to fill up coffee and water and are super attentive. Food was great and tasted amazing.
They’ve got lots of seating space and options plus if you’re not wanting to sit down and eat they have a great system for ordering out and pick up.

The menu has changed a lot and some of the best foods have been eliminated from the menu. The Senior Menu is not Senior friendly and the choices aren’t available like egg whites. Price increases and different choices not pleasing anymore. The liver n onions was a great meal and its no longer available. Sad unhappy customer sometimes changes aren’t good. Ask your customers what meals you should bring back to the menu.

Stopped in on a Friday morning, between 10-10:30am. The restaurant was pretty busy, but we were seated quickly and asked if we wanted coffee. I had the Mexican skillet that included toast and two eggs, which I requested to be cooked, medium well. My meal was good and piping hot. My husband had the belly buster and he really enjoyed his meal, but especially enjoyed the pancakes. I’d recommend stopping in here if you’re in the neighborhood.

Stopped while travelling thru town and had breakfast. Food was pretty good, hashbrowns were more mashed but may be a chicago thing. Waitress was nice and polite and attentive. Was empty but was clean and everyone was nice

L & G by far has the best breakfast in the area; I come often! Their specials and creative, delicious french toast/pancake options simply cannot be beat. Everything they offer tastes amazing, and the service is phenomenal. Come try them out!!! Everyone I’ve been here with has asked to come back! 🙂 The food names are in the photo descriptions btw!

I have been to at least a dozen breakfast spots since i moved to the southeast side of Chicago, in search of a quality spot.
