I’ve come twice. The first we sat at the bar. Food came out dynamite and service was quick and friendly. But that’s probably because the bartender can’t really escape from you when you’re sitting in front of them. Loved it so much, we went a second time. Biggest mistake, service was abysmal and food came out wrong. The food runner noticed it didn’t match with the slip, the waitress then acknowledged it without us even complaining when she came back with our drinks. And said she’d get the meal corrected. 30 minutes later was the next time we see her. They never rectified the issue even after two different people acknowledged it and then proceeded to try charge us for it. This is why judging service with tipping matters. They got a $5 tip on an $80 bill and they’re lucky we even did that. Ended up going to the 110 grill down the street had a few drinks with my fiancé and got a meal for her sister that we didn’t get from Horsefeathers. $65 bill and the bartender got a $35 tip. Service matters. And the way you tip proves the point.

Delicious and great service!! Food and drinks ordered and delivered to the table at a great pace. Asked several times if I needed anything else — all BIG positives.

First timer and came in about 1:30pm for lunch. Friendly greeting at the door and quickly seated.

Went with the croc of French onion soup followed by the Philly cheesesteak and potato planks.

The soup was awesome — plenty of melted cheese, onion, and a rich beef stock.

Was thinking I was only going to eat half the cheesesteak but so good I polished off the whole thing. The roll had a nice crisp and pillowy feel and not overpowering the rest of the sandwich at the same time. The beef, cheese, and pepper combo made it a Goldilocks sandwich — JUST RIGHT!!

Got to see most of the lunch menu delivered over 90 minutes and it all looked great. Plan on being back again and again.

Right in the heart of the town adjacent to the green and old train station. Seating upstairs and downstairs. Good service with a good menu variety and portion size. Toilets located upstairs. Visited mid week on the 1st Feb and was very quiet in the evening but so is the whole town. Had the crispy chicken salad which was fab. Street parking outside the door. Would recommend.

Great family dinner at Horsefeathers! We’ve been coming here for years, the portions are large for both food and drink. The service is really great, very attentive staff!! Keep in mind it’ll get busy on the weekends around dinner time so plan ahead.
Very popular!

Been coming up to North Conway for many years and always wanted to go to Horsefeathers, but it has historically always been crowded on the weekends. Finally found our chance. We went 6ish on a Thursday. There were a few locals there, and some out of towners continued to trickle in. My first impression was the strong smell of old beer, presumably from the floor. It was a powerful scent. We were seated at a both. We ordered two cocktails. My marg was made with mix. Ehh. The waitress then explained that they were out of many many entrees and sides. No steak, no green beans, etc. We started to get nervous so we asked for a minute. We decided to get an app to try and decide from there. We ordered nachos. It’s not easy to bungle nachos. They did. They tasted like they were premade, sold and repurchased from ocean state job lot. We dipped to Delaney’s. Great decision.

Went to New Hampshire for the weekend and wanted to try a new restaurant. We went to Horsefeathers as it was in the area we were staying in. Cute little shopping and restaurant area right across from the scenic railroad. The restaurant was fairly busy when we arrived but were seated promptly. The waiter and waitress came over shortly after arriving and took our drink order. We order water and a red wine. For our meal, we chose a soup and roast beef sandwich and an order of their chicken quesadillas. The waiter was training but was very attentive and polite along with the trainer waitress. We were seated next to a large party with young children, so It was a bit noisy being in close proximity. They had tvs and a bar area as well and a good size dining area with different style tables depending on your party size. The food was really good and the service was equally as good. Did not stay for any length of time to relax and enjoy due to the noise.

Our dining experience was a real mixed bag – the food was top-notch and our server was on point, but the hostess, Diane, seemed like she’d rather be anywhere else but there. We walked in and were greeted with an awkward silence, a long stare and an eye roll. When we told her our party size, she let out a dramatic sigh, like we were asking her to solve world hunger. After another huff and eye roll she brought us to our table, slapped the menus on the table and stormed off. Luckily, the rest of the staff were awesome!

The waitress was prompt and attentive, however the food took half an hour after our party of 3 ordered. We had a salad, burger and chicken parm, so nothing outrageous. And the lettuce for the salad wasn’t fresh. The atmosphere was pleasant though; not too loud and easy to converse.

I was really looking forward to eating here but after our experience we won’t be back. Bj our server was rude and seemed like he was preoccupied with other staff members and making sure he didn’t pass up a drink with local customers. We seemed to be an inconvenience and felt very unwelcomed by him. Went to Delaney’s the night after and it’s definitely our new favorite spot!!

If you’ve been to North Conway before, you’ve probably visited this place already. It’s very popular. Has been for years. Really strong drinks which I like. The food is typical pub food, although they have a couple of things I particularly like and that would be the french onion soup. Burgers are pretty good and french fries are a large portion. Services always been very good. This is the kind of a place that you can go with the family or with some friends and have a few beers or cocktails
