⭐ 1 STAR — DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! ⭐
I went to Sam’s Seafood and ordered the Snow Crab Leg Platter for $29.99, which is supposed to come with crab legs, sausage, mussels, shrimp, potatoes, and corn. First red flag? I asked for a simple cocktail sauce, and they tried to charge me extra! Really?!
Then I got home, opened the container, and almost fell out. There was a HOT DOG sitting in there instead of sausage. A hot dog! Who does that?!
The crab legs were so tiny they looked like they came off a five-year-old’s hand, and to make it even worse, the whole meal was lukewarm. For thirty dollars, I expected an actual seafood platter, not a sad little box of disappointment.
When I called, the manager said he charges extra for cocktail sauce because “the platter comes with butter.” Sir… that is not the point! The quality was terrible, the portions were embarrassing, and nothing about this meal justified the price.

I can not praise them enough. We were in the area looked on Google Maps and saw that they had great reviews and great prices and they did not disappoint! Definitely agree with all the positive reviews. Hope to try other menu items when I’m in town again. Keep doing the great work yall already do.

First time here eating at Sam’s seafood and grill. Food was on point..no complaints. Reason for low star for atmosphere is due to walking in and hearing one of the workers talking about beating up someone based off of a what if situation. Not nice..do better. Overall we will surely revisit again.

Sam’s was recommended by a few staff at the hotel I’m staying at, and it couldnt have been better. Friendly staff, very quick service, large filling fried oysters, a large helping of FF’s, and a drink all at at unbelievely low price. The menu was huge, I went for oysters and got delicious ones! I’ll be back to try the many other options on the board. Try Sam’s you can go wrong!

I came here for the first time per I was in Tampa for work purposes. I have to say the service was amazing! I got the catfish number 9 grilled, with coleslaw and a side of hush puppies ! I have to say I loved the sweetness within the coleslaw and the fluffiness of the hush puppies. I was not fond of the catfish so I returned it, but the lady was so pleasant she allowed me to switch it for fried shrimp and gave me a treat (red velvet cake) !! This was super sweet and showed amazing customer service! Will look forward to returning in the future!

I live an hour way so every time I’m in this area I buy something because the food is usually good but this time I get back home and my husband couldn’t even eat his sandwich because the cook wanted to throw a lot of salt on the cheesesteak today for some reason so I was told that I got to bring the food back and I’m on my way to work, so in order to get a new sandwich I have to bring the food back okay no problem,
so I told him for next time regular salt is regular salt nobody said extra salt I don’t want my money back I don’t want another sandwich you don’t put so much salt on somebody’s food it was disgusting we had to throw it out keep your sandwich and keep your money I will taste my food before leaving the restaurant next time if I ever go back and people after you spend your money and you tell them about something that was wrong as a consumer they get a little attitude Make that make sense I wasn’t the one that cooked that sandwich salty. Learn how to talk to customers.

Love this place. Everyone works as a family and having fun. Sandwiches and platters are all worth the money and very good as well as cooked just right as I ask. I order by calling in and pick up the food on the way home from work. Burger, cheesesteaks, mixed seafood platter, gumbo all great stuff.

Low cost dump. Food is fair on a good day. No customer service. Lucky to get half your order right and overtime they forget any sauces, give you the wrong on and if you ask for anything. Forget about it. Plenty of food places a block away that actually can communicate with customers and not be do belligerent. Not going back. Lost a 6 year weekly customer from bad service

Ordered garlic Parmesan wing platter for pickup. When I opened the container, they looked really good. Unfortunately the garlic/parm “ sauce” has the consistency of gravy with a salty/sour taste with no hint of garlic or Parmesan. I can’t say they were bad, just not the taste I was expecting. The livers were really good though. Also prices charged are not the prices listed on their web site.
