My grandmother took me around last August to some of the staples for dining in NC! Abram’s was one of them. The food was very delicious and the service was fast!!! I enjoyed the food. Definitely want to come back one day

Abrams has always been a great restaurant no matter what town you go to. They are known for their” cheese biscuits”. I have always loved their home cooked food.So many people don’t know what “southern style ” food really is. It’s so good to stop and get a biscuit early in the morning. I use to stop nearly every morning before school. And now is no different, other than it being nearly 40 years ago. Now tell me that Mr. Gerald must be doing something right, and how many cheese biscuits has he served in that time. The staff that is at these restaurants are of good manners, and always inviting. If you do have any problems ask for a manager, they will always help you. If they don’t call the main office and talk to. Gerald, I know he will. But don’t miss out on the sausage and cheese biscuits. Or for that matter any of their biscuits. However I also love their baked chicken, baked Mac & cheese, Salisbury steak, and mashed potatoes & gravy. Go by one of their places after church on Sunday and enjoy their buffet. WOW, I could talk on and on about Abrams, now you make your own experience.

The food is amazing and the staff very friendly. We will be back. The floor was a little slippery so be careful.

I live in South Carolina, visiting North Carolina to see my cousins and celebrate a birthday party. This morning, 1/18/26, my family and I decided to get Abrams. I have their cheese biscuit, a piece of chicken, and their hashbrowns infront of me.
Good lord, this is the best biscuit I’ve ever had. Everything else is phenomenal but the biscuit is sublime, it feels like my mouth has been blessed by god himself

Abrams offers delicious food but they had slow service. They accept cards, but unfortunately, there’s no Tap to Pay for Android or Apple users.
The cheese biscuits are a must-try, though they sell out quickly. We ordered lunch to go, and the fried chicken which was juicy and well-seasoned. The hush puppies were also tasty, but the green beans weren’t to my liking.

This restaurant is just ok. Food is ok, nothing to brag on and the employees can have a crappy attitude sometimes. It feels ‘dirty’ to me when I go in.
It would be fantastic if the drive thru menu board had pricing. It had pricing at one time but someone took black duck tape and covered up ALL the prices!! Speaking of prices, this place has had almost a 20% increase in prices.
Also, if you use the drive thru, PLEASE don’t change your mind about ordering. Once you are in that line, you cannot, cannot get out of line. You are stuck like chuck and must proceed to the pickup window just as if you ordered.

I’ve passed by this location may times, and today, I decided to stop.
The parking lot is a maze, and I don’t like having to walk through the drive-through line to enter or get back to your car. Not safe.
Upon entering, we were greeted, which was nice . The food to choose from didn’t look very fresh. Each time the server/cook brought up a new dish, he would just drop it in the empty place with the worst look on his face.
I got 2 chicken legs, and they were pretty good. My mashed potatoes were slightly cold, and my green beans were bland. The hushpuppies were ok.
If I ever stop again, I hope the food will be better prepared.

I ordered a BBQ Chicken Plate (White meat). The 2 tiny chicken wings would fit in a large tablespoon. No joke. They should be ashamed. The breast was small too. I’m sure the chickens that these wings came from never lived long enough to grow feathers. They should call them Chick Wings. This should be against the law. My husband ordered hamburger steak which was 3.00 more because they claimed it was Angus Beef. Both plates 30.00. I wish I could post a Pic of these tiny wings.

So me and alone of my sons were coming back out of state. And we saw a billboard for Abraham’s. It said seafood and soul food so I was already intrigued. Almost salivating. So I put the address in GPS and we were on our way. So when we pulled up. It had a line in drive through. Ok…. then there was aline inside. Ok. And mixed races were inside as well. And that is always a good sign of goid food. Now if a hood spot or hole in the wall spot is not your cup of tea.. this place in appearance could deter you. But give it a chance. So when we went in and ordered.. I was a little apprehensive.. then had stuff made to order. I though maybe it would he dry. And I did t want to wait.. to order something else. So I ordered off the line. Let me tell you. Fire!!!!!. I had their chicken and porch ops and yams and potota salad.. !!!!! I was impressed for sure. The atmosphere was nothing to brag about at all. And the sweet tea.. did not hit the spot..but I am assuming lemonade is the thing because that was empty. And they are also know for cheese biscuits. But unfortunately they onky serve for breakfast. So I gotta go back for that for sure. But yeah they get the Sickle and ebert 2 thumbs up….
