omg i love this place
I came for dinner with my friend. The food was so good. We started talking about heaven. If I went to heaven university spice boys would the cafeteria.

All the food is SO good. The chicken sandwich I had for lunch the last time I was here was by far the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had.

My waitress Evelynn was so kind.

DEFINITELY will be coming back‼️

If you aren’t eating here you are missing out!!! We were drawn in by the adorable teal chairs and sunshine, but had no idea we were about to experience the cuisine of a lifetime! This place is PHENOMENAL! The flavors are wonderful and so interesting. Such a refreshing delicious meal. Evelyn was so helpful and attentive and sweet! We will be coming back as much as possible

This place was great. The waiter was very friendly and his suggestions were delicious. We had the lamb flatbread and a lavender margarita. Both were very good. They also have an area for kids, with some toys, and some little picnic tables.

The name immediately makes you stop and smile. The smile continues when you walk into the location at the landings where it feels as if you’ve wandered into a quiet backwater, quirky café somewhere in the keys. Stacks of cookbooks and a whimsical collection of kitchen and culturally interesting objects invite you to sit and read, talk, eat and wonder at how this odd place came to be. What you learn, if you read the history is that this is one of two locations (the other being at UTC) that started with two (2) chefs and someone by the name of Florence who is central to the success of their food truck and now their brick and mortar locations.
Having had no previous knowledge of the place – this was one of those “What’s that place over there? Let’s check it out!” kind of discoveries (no tech involved) – we had no expectations. Which made the wonder of sitting, reading cook books, eating, talking and generally enjoying a cozy break in a place that has a welcoming, weirdly eccentric feel. In other words, we felt at home.

We had the Hummus sweat corn with feta, the Bhel Puri (a Mumbai street food that tick’s the vegetarian box as well) and a Kataifi (halloumi, filo pastry, hot honey, sesame aioli) with an unsweetened iced tea (Dragon Fruit Hibiscus) and a glass of white wine. All were exceptional and yes vegetarian, but that is not a requirement for us, just where our tastes took us on this occasion.
Will check out the UTC location. But can whole heartedly recommend the landings location for delivering an atmosphere, service, and food that makes you feel that you are removed to someplace further south, and remote in the state of Florida. The only cognitive dissonance we experienced was going back to our vehicle and realizing we couldn’t just drive on a few more miles and find ourselves in Marathon, but were really in Sarasota, Florida still. Great job everyone.

This place was absolutely amazing! The food was incredibly flavorful, and the atmosphere was stunning. We honestly took half our photos just because of the beautiful décor. The service was excellent, and Lissette was so kind and helpful—shoutout to her for making our experience even better!

I don’t usually leave reviews but I couldn’t help myself. Everything was amazing, the vibes were great, and this was genuinely one of the best meals I’ve ever had. This is going to become a usual spot for me now! Incredible.

Wow I felt like I was transported to India then to Turkey all from one delicious lunch today. The humus was like a butter melt on your lips smooth and delicious. Then the lamb flatbread with its special sauce another winner, and the eggplant appetizer with its sweet and hot kick slaw. I can’t wait to try the other options. The atmosphere was also special..thanks again.

Interesting Concept, But Not Quite for Me
We tried Florence and the Spice Boys recently and had a mixed experience. The babaganoush, which we ordered as a starter, was unfortunately way too sour — not enjoyable at all.
The shrimp skewers were better — nicely charred with a slightly sweet BBQ flavor. The garlic sauce on the plate was delicious, but for $15, getting only 4 shrimp felt underwhelming. The tandoori chicken skewers also had a sweet taste, which was unexpected, and again, the portion size was quite small. You also have to order everything individually, which adds up quickly.
Service was efficient, but the vibe made it feel like feedback or complaints wouldn’t be well received. One small thing — the pillows in the chairs felt a bit unsanitary, which made the seating less comfortable.
Overall, it was okay, but not somewhere I’d rush back to. Some hits, some misses.

Not great
Disappointing at best ☹️
Staff that greeted us was not nice or not in a good mood -unsure.
The restaurant was not busy as there were only a handful of patrons.
Ordered the lamb flatbread and per the menu said “served with a side salad, tahini, dates and almonds” but we only were given onions
Check out our photo versus other posted pictures of this dish
The harissa shrimp kabobs were so spicy it gave me heartburn.
Ordered the Fatoosh salad – was again missing ingredients listed on the menu – this time the pita bread
Had high hopes for the Kataifi but that to did not impress – could not distinguish any Hot honey, sesame or even halloumi in the final presentation
Maybe they were having a bad night or their last delivery was missing many key ingredients for their dishes but from this experience we can not recommend this restaurant
Sad because we were really excited when we read their menu and saw pictures that previous guest had posted
Also, be aware that although they have a ‘tap’ function for credit card payments they will insert your card into their reader without asking
I would skip this restaurant and highly recommend Comida instead. Forward thinking with fresh ingredients and thoughtful preparations of dishes that actually include items listed on the menu.

Yesterday, my family and I stopped for lunch after going to Mote. I’ve eaten quite a bit of Middle Eastern food, but this was exceptional. The most flavorful interesting meal I’ve had in a long time. I had the Kofte Rainbow Bowl – every component was awesome. Everything that my family ordered was uniformly excellent. Great service. Cool old Florida decor. I’m already planning out a return trip for dinner.
