Came here for a casual stop and i was very pleased with the food. Its not phenomenal like Fort Lee or in Vancouver or Korea, but it was very delicious. The flavours were definitely there most of the time especially in the pork belly but they didnt have the high quality meats like Galbi. They had a whole section for hot pot add ons and side dishes included in the charge. The food came quickly and we ordered on the ipad. I am so grateful and very lucky that they didnt charge us for the little bit of food we didnt eat because we ordered too much. It says a $14 charge per pound for food wasted.
The service was pretty good and very attentive, bt they didnt understand one of my requests for salt so i had to ask again. I also dont like how there is an 18% gratuity for 6 people or more and that theres an extra fee for both and the whole table has to order both but it is what it is. Worth it for special occasions

Great place to spend the night with friends or family. Food was excellent, plenty of options to choose from for your hot pot and also the appetizer’s and sauces station was really good. Really enjoyed the experience. Would recommend.

Love this place. I’ve been putting it off cause my friends haven’t had the time. But My family took me for my bday yesterday and guess what?! My meal was free!!!! Yes! So they made it even more special. I also got a little teddy with a rose. Cristian was very attentive like the rest of the staff. I feel like at home when I come here!

This was a real surprise!
As someone who frequently visits hot pot and kbbq restaurants, I wasn’t sure what to expect from what, at first blush, looked like a hotel restaurant. But this place absolutely competes with the best.
I comboed both bbq and hot pot for lunch. For the bbq side, the beef bulgogi marinade was perfect, sweet and savory, and the vegetables were fresh. On hot pot, the lamb slices were exceedingly tender! Heat controls on both were reasonably intuitive. Lunch pricing is great value. I really appreciated that the serving sizes for each order weren’t massive, allowing for greater variety of orders even as a solo diner.
The other critical element to share is that my server, Ayana, was just the most sweet and lovely person!
My only regret is that I’m in the area for business. If I lived near here, I’d visit frequently, and ask for Ayana every time!

We drove from Kent all the way to Danbury to try out Hungry Pot based on a recommendation from a student. When we arrived there, we had plenty of parking.
The price was fair at just over $30 per person for all you can eat. I haven’t had that kind of price for a dinner in a while. It was definitely worth the dive.
Our waitress was Chinese and really worked with us on our order (she was very nice). We were visiting from Taiwan and we love eating hotpot :). All orders were done on an iPad and were delivered fairly quickly. We ordered 3 non-spicy hot pots and it really hit the spot because it was freezing cold outside (35F). We tried several different meats and settled into just ordering sliced rib eye which was pretty good. They also had all you can eat crab legs which I loved to eat.
The only thing I would change to make it better was that they had all the dirty dishes and trash near the front area where we were eating. If they could keep that in the back room and away from the dining area, it would be more pleasant. Other than that, it was a very good meal and the restaurant felt pretty clean.
Would I go back again ? Yes !!! It was about a 40 minute drive for us but when you want hot pot this place hit the spot. Fortunately, we got there early because it started getting crowded about 20 minutes after we got there.

Service was phenomenal, we had Cindy and she was super quick and helpful. The busers and food runners were very quick to bring out new food and take empty plates! I cannot say enough good things about this location!!
We used to go to the Hungry Pot in Natick MA multiple times a month but their service has gotten so bad we don’t go anymore, this hungry pot is 2 hours away from our home but the service is so good I think I would drive to this location rather than go to the one that is 20 minutes away from my home.

Good food. They don’t accept reservations. It’s a first come first serve basis. We are a party of 5 and since it was busy we accepted a table with 4 hotpot tops and figured I’ll order seafood broil instead. I only ordered 3 things in their big menu – lobster, shrimp and scallops (about $50). For hot pot they serve the food fast but for seafood broil it took forever that we had to cancel the order since my family was almost done eating and my seafood broil was still not ready when I asked. Maybe just an off day. Maybe it’s this location. But we’ve been to other hot pot places numerous times and always had excellent service everytime. We should have taken the sign when we saw how the family in front of us was treated. Lady in front of us before getting seated was asking some questions and the person at the front desk seems to have no patience to answer her questions so another gentleman got involved. We were gonna leave but the kids were hungry after a day of activities. Needless to say it wasn’t the best experience. Specially for mom’s day. Not sure we’ll be back here.

They would not honor the all you can eat promo and did NOT bring out the additional food they requested. BEWARE!! I used to come here for Korean BBQ. I visited this restaurant yesterday with my kids. We ordered the all-you-can-eat seafood boil, which was $41.99 per person. There were four of us eating, plus my 4-year-old.
I’ve been coming here whenever we’re in town and never had an issue before. The prices used to be reasonable, and the portions were fair. Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing.
When the food came out, the portion of seafood was extremely small for an all-you-can-eat option. At that point, we were tired and just wanted to eat and go home, so we didn’t argue and ate what was served. We had a small amount left over and asked to have it packed to go. We were then charged an additional $36 to take the food home.
I was shocked. We already paid per person for all-you-can-eat, and then were charged again just to take leftovers. That was never explained upfront and feels like a complete rip-off.
Sadly, this place is no longer worth the price, and I won’t be returning.

Food was great. Customer service was genuinely the most awful experience I have ever encountered from being greeted with hostility and attitude, being told we weren’t allowed to share after each of us payed for our own individual meals, and not allowed to take leftover homes unless we pay $15 additional to what you already paid for.
I have never been to a place like this and will not be coming back. I highly do not suggest this place
