Placed a order for pickup, via Doordash. Turns out the prices AND menu on Doordash are slightly different than in the restaurant. I brought my concerns to the staff, who while polite, had no interest in rectifying the issue. I then asked for a refund and was told flatly, no. This is the story of how I spent $8 on a side of plain broccoli and decided I would never support this place again despite being way closer than their competition.
Edit to respond: Yes, the price on Doordash was the same price as a broccoli in garlic sauce entree with white rice on your menu. I was given a plain side of steamed broccoli, which is not even listed on your actual menu. Not a big deal, but your staffs refusal to acknowledge or rectify the issue is why I’m taking my money elsewhere.

Giving 3 stars because i absolutely love this restaurant usually, but, someone is smoking cigarettes near the food. I found literal ashes and a piece of cigarette in my egg drop soup. it tasted like, what i imagine the ashtrays at the local VFW taste like. I haven’t been back since because of this.
this was on July 15th around 515-545pm just in case you’d like to check cameras.

The food is consistently yummy; to-go orders are finished promptly (unless it’s Christmas, bc they’re one of the only restaurants in HS that aren’t closed, so give them grace!). I only give the atmosphere a 4/5 because you can’t dine in during dinner hours. We order takeout from the Wok probably once a month at minimum. Pricing is fair, especially when you consider the fact that this is the BEST Chinese food in Hot Springs and it’s not even close. imho.
note: Try the bourbon chicken it’s bomb!

OMG BEST DISH I HAVE HAD SO FAR: Bourbon Chicken!!! (Second new fave: BONELESS RIBS! ) So flavorful and the chicken is nice and juicy, falls apart. Great portions and good prices. If you are a meat eater, the bourbon chicken and the ribs are where it’s at for texture and quality. This is a place where you order counter style and they bring it to you so it’s more laid back. I have been a customer since I was a child and the place has only gotten better with time. Be prepared to be overwhelmed with the extensive menu, it all sounds so good it’s tough to make a decision. I see why buffets are popular but let’s face it, hot springs does not have good Chinese buffets and this restaurant is the real deal and has been for as long as I can remember. The staff is kind, the dining room is small but cozy and there’s a massive aquarium in the back that gets a lot of attention. This time we tried the General Tso’s shrimp (crispy and saucy), spicy veggie Lo mein (my all time fave- I request spicy), shrimp mei fun, and the General Tso’s chicken (large crispy chunks). It was all sooooo good! Fresh, hot and perfectly seasoned. If you are craving Chinese, you gotta try this place. Note: as far as cuts of meat go, the chicken seems to be better texture wise over the beef. The Mongolian chicken had great flavor and the spices were on point. The Szechuan beef was okay, it’s a sweet tasting dish which is not my favorite and the beef is a little on the chewy side. I always recommend the veggies or shrimp, they are always on point. Also whatever kind of cut they use for the bourbon chicken, that’s the cut you want. TRUST ME

Delicious food served quickly and hot. People are nice but table service is slow and can take awhile to get drinks refilled or the check. Kids love the live fish tank and it adds to the atmosphere which is warm and welcoming. Prices are affordable and make a great Date location or just somewhere to treat yourself.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad or mediocre meal from Wok Express. The food is always delicious, hot, and high quality. I’ve been dining here since 2017. The owners are very nice, the employees are super nice and most have been there since I started dining there. The menu features a lot of choices and I don’t know how they do that but it’s all high quality ingredients. They can get really busy but they’re fast regardless. I call ahead and then pick up but if you just order when you arrive then it’s still pretty fast. It has to be one of the best deals around due to the affordability and quality ratio.

Never had a bad meal from here!
I got two combination platters. Garlic Chicken and Chicken Lo Mein both came with fried rice and an egg roll. They say they are lunch portions but the amount of food they give.. You’d think it was dinner. Which is alright by me! My son and I both made another meal from what was left over.
Everything was hot and delicious! Any time I come home to see family, I stop here. I prefer them over some of the other places in Hot Springs.

The food was good. It’s not a ‘sit down’ restaurant though. You order at the counter and they bring your food to the table. After that, I didn’t see my server again. The teriyaki chicken was the highlight of my meal.

All stars for food which is fresh, quick, yummy and feels good since the portion size are very generous.
There is the counter which has all sort of food menu above it and you need to pick what you want to eat, pay for it and they bring the food to the table you are sitting at.
I wanted my food to be spicy and not sweet with the sweet sauce it normally comes with and they made it the way I like.
Our party had vegeterians, non vegeterians and a kid and everyone enjoyed the food.
The prices are very reasonable for the portions and it’s a lot in fact.
Worth a visit for people who like chineese food.

I got the Sweet and sour chicken with fried rice combination for lunch. You get lots of food. My wife got the General Tso chicken with fried rice. It is good. Their fried rice is a little bland. Food was fresh and good. We ate lunch.
