Who doesn’t love a great buffet, boy I sure do..and the Grand Buffet is about the best in Modesto! So, when I was finished setting up the Keeler’s Aagonaught thingamabob over at the Spindly Dodah Ranch for Arephonious Astropolous my Greek pal from the old country, I headed straight there for some pretty amazing food. And as always the Grand Buffet pulled out a 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ rating!

Consistent good food! Great price and the staff is attentive. Atmosphere is just fine as far as the folks who run the place… often though the “uneducated” bring their kids to run amuck and/or sit there with iPads on high volume during dinner. That’s OK, we’ve learned to expect it. It does NOT deter from the delicious food!

Some entrees were tough from over cooking. Great varieties of meat entrees. Wish the desserts were better. Salmon was good, just need to remove the skin.

My husband and I absolutely love this place!! Great food and service. The prices are worth what is being served. I would recommend Sundays because of the dishes they have out. They are constantly putting out fresh food and making certain that they food is always topped off. There is very little to no waiting time. Highly recommend. Our favorite buffet in Modesto.

The people that work there are very nice but the food is not the best. A lot of the food was cold and didn’t taste right but they did have a couple items like the chicken wings and the pork buns that were really good. The price is a little pricey also

A delicious experience with many different food items. Leaving hungry shouldn’t be a problem. Service is good and atmosphere is low key and relaxed. Give it a try, you’ll be glad you did!

Just very mediocre to be honest. I had a little bit of almost everything and half of the food was just outright cold and stale tasting. The remaining food was just ok, with the best thing I personally had was what I think was walnut shrimp except there were no nuts, only shrimp in sweet white sauce with pineapple pieces. I normally really love hot and sour soup but I found this to unfortunately be the worst I’ve ever had. The sushi was just kinda ok, I have made better sushi at home and I am not exactly a chef.
For $24 a person (factoring in tax and tip), it just really was not worthwhile. I left full of course, but completely unsatisfied. I’m not interested in returning

Had a large selection of food, not that many desserts but the food was a 10/10 plus the workers were nice.

First time coming to this place. Sure got a big disappointment,food was not good, service was okay. The restrooms were awful,saw a cockroach walking by the ice cream area. Wouldn’t come back, or recommend to anyone. That place is falling apart.

Tried the buffet. Though the line was long still it moved fast. The food selection was wide with California rolls, fried rice, sea food and delicious soup. The food feels like home cooked. They follow covid guidelines, have social distancing tables, disposable gloves to get food and one time use utensils. Definitely recommend and would come back to try again their food.
