I don’t recommend coming to this place of business. I called Christmas Eve to see if they would be open Christmas Day I was told yes they would be. I checked online Christmas Day and it said they were open. I placed an order the order processed and it even said the restaurant received it. I went to the location as soon as I placed it and waited over 30 minutes just to discover it wasn’t open. I was out of $50 dollars and nothing else was open so my kids went without a Christmas meal for dinner as we had planned to have pizza to play off our “Home Alone” theme because I had to go to work while my teens would be home. Today I called and due to the inconvenience I asked if I could receive the refund and my order. I had to communicate with the hostess while the owner relayed the message that he wouldn’t provide both making the excuse that no one wanted to come into work on Christmas. This is the unfortunate part support local businesses as they aren’t able to meet their customer needs when they fail to meet their own standards. I was looking forward to trying this restaurant out but I’ll refrain from going here as it isn’t about serving the people especially the ones in the community instead it’s about making excuses and finding a resolution that only benefits the owners needs. I could say it was only $50 and that’s not a loss for his business but if he’s doing this to multiple customers I can see how this business would be best ran as a no profit organization at least then it’ll actually serve the people. Sometimes it’s best to support places that actually deserve it. This isn’t the place. I’ll get my refund in two days. Great. If only I could get refunded my time as well.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Absolutely terrible experience. My brother came into town and wanted to try some good pizza. We saw this place and decided to try it out. Worst mistake. We sat down and ordered fries with nacho cheese and bacon, garlic knots, a Hawaiian pizza, 12 piece boneless wings, and another side of fries. We waited for 45 minutes, then they brought the wings and said that they were out of nacho cheese for the fries. Again, we had already been there for 45 minutes!!!!! About 20 minutes later, the waitress brings out the garlic knots and proceeds to tell us that they are also out of ham. How do we wait over an hour before you tell us that you are out of something!!! And there were only 2 other tables of people there. The waitress was not hospitable at all. She never asked if we wanted refills. We had to track her down after our cups had been empty for so long. I asked for ranch 3 times and each time, she said she was going to get it, and never came back. But yet she tried to charge us for 3 ranches that we never got. Also, since when do appetizers come AFTER the food?! She was also wearing a bracelet that said “I love doobies”. What you do or love on your spare time is your business, but I almost feel like the level of customer service we received implies that she does in fact love doobies. Finally at the end, we requested a to-go box for the pizza that we never got. Absolute worst experience. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!Definitely will not come back.

Just left here and spent over 80$ and got burnt garlic knots and missing sauces I paid extra for. The pizza was hard. Im disappointed because I have tried this place at the Tempe location and Avondale and normally it is great. Unfortunately, the goodyear location failed me and is conveniently closer to me. The reason mainly for my low rating is due to me being on hold over 5mins. I tried to call back multiple times no answer. Secondly, a hair was in my salad as well. I just want my burnt food refunded at this point. The only thing good out of the order was the wings. I see (YOU)the owner has replied you’re hard to get a hold of, I would like a refund for my bad experience.

Came here on late Saturday night, the place was pretty empty. The waitress messed up our order but the other waiter was nice about the situation and helped get it right. The wings are DELICIOUS!!!! That is definitely five stars, the appetizer sampler was a pretty good deal for what you got and everything was crispy, so tasty! My only thing was the pizza, it was the perfect cook but maybe they need to add a little to their crust. It’s so dry, it’s like, I can taste the yeast, maybe put some olive oil or garlic? If you love sauce on your pizza make sure to ask for extra because it’s more cheesy than saucy. Still overall delicious and the service was great! I wish people could give the place a little slack they are currently hiring new people so it takes time to adjust. We are not all perfect, they do their best.

I’ve been going to Gus’s for the past 6 1/2 years I’ve lived here in Arizona and can always count on a good drink, good food, and great service! The bartender Asher is top tier! He is incredibly kind, smart, and always makes great conversation! Sometimes I wish they were still open til 2am like before Covid but I also understand they need to do what’s right for business.

Horrible Pizza! This place has gone down hill. Been buying pizza from Gus for over 5 years we just ordered two Pizzas the crust was so thin and the sauce tastes like it came out of a can. The flavor of the pizza has changed. We paid for extra cheese and it barely had any cheese on it! Schools cafeteria pizza taste better than this. Don’t know if they have new owners, whatever the case maybe. The pizza is not worth the price. Little Caesars pizza is better than this place. For that price they are charging better of going to New York Pizza!

Very easy and highly recommended by our hotel staff. My only issue was i like ham on my pizza , but they were out of ham, and out of the mozzarella sticks. Mathew was awesome however and the place was really nice. Next time innthe area I’ll try again

One of the worst, most disgusting pizza places in whole state of Arizona!
First thing you see before you even walk in is that the front door is disgustingly dirty, the glass has handprints all over it, and other debris on the inside and outside of the door. The door handles are also dirty filthy dirty.
The inside of the restaurant is very dated, meaning that if you prefer to be back in the 90s this is the place for you, along with the ’90s dirt and lack of cleaning since then!
The pizza itself is nowhere near New York Pizza,, I would not even read it a low end California Pizza trying to be a New York Pizza. The dough is terrible, taste nothing like a New York pizza crust.
The sauce is very bland, I do not believe that there’s any olive oil used whatsoever, most likely soybean oil, or canola oil used in the sauce and the pizza dough.
The tables were also dirty, we had to search for a clean table, the staff seamto be very lazy. it took over 25 minutes to get a one topping 16 inch pizza at over $20.00 this is a true rip off considering the quality of what you get!
The atmosphere is horrendous, it is no wonder why the place was empty!
The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting, the sink had dirt all over it, it looked like it had not been cleaned in months!
I’ve seen cleaner sinks in abandoned buildings.
I use the men’s restroom, and around the urinal I will not even say what was on the floor, the urinal itself was also disgustingly dirty, the bathroom smell like it hadn’t been cleaned in years and looked like it also!
You would be best to stay far away from this establishment, this place should be shut down for its disgustingly dirty and deplorable condition!
If this place could pass inspection then anything any place could pass an inspection, I do not know when the last time Maricopa county inspected this place, but they need to go back immediately and wear a pair of glasses.
If it looks this dirty from what I could see as a customer, I cannot imagine what the kitchen itself looks like, and to walk in refrigerator and freezers.
It is absolutely deplorable that this place can still be in business!
Go anyplace else, but this place.

Staff was courteous and quick.
The bar looked lively.
The pizza was great but it isn’t really a New York slice. We got the Supreme and really enjoyed the fresh ingredients, crust was fluffy and good. Really only lacking sauce, seemed like there was none on there. We also got the fried cheesecake which came with ice cream that was tasty.
