Vicky’s Bakery is our go to spot for coffee and one of those places that truly feels like home. It is walking distance for us, which makes it even better, but what really keeps us coming back is the personal service and welcoming energy. Every visit feels familiar and genuine.
For the holidays, we always order catering from here because the quality is consistently homemade and dependable. It is the kind of food you feel good serving to family and guests.
On the bakery side, not all Cuban bakeries are created equal, and this one stands out. Our usual order is a cafe con leche and a colada for a perfect breakfast pick me up. Every now and then we treat ourselves to a guava pastelito or a croqueta, and both taste incredibly fresh and homemade.
We visit throughout the year, and their points system is amazing. We usually save those rewards for catering orders, which makes an already great experience even better. The place is always fast, friendly, super clean, and consistently delivers.
This spot is definitely abuelita approved. We love it here and highly recommend it.

Stopped in for breakfast as I’m trying to go to all of the Vicky‘s bakeries and this one definitely hit the Marc. First off the staff was super friendly, and the lady ringing me up even spelled my name right without even asking me, which was a huge bonus. But the café con Leche, and the guava pastry was out of this world as normal. I love coming to this place when I’m down in this area because you always know it’s gonna be great!

The quality of the food at this location and attention to detail has really gone downhill over the past 6 months. I’ve ordered extra butter (an upcharge) on my pan tostada and have received barely any, I’ve received stale bread, and today was what is making me call it quits for this location. They stapled the receipt straight through my bread, which is a hazard if I wasn’t paying attention and ate the staple that went through the bread, not to mention unsanitary.

Being Cuban, I was so excited to run into a nice Cuban bakery while in West Broward. The place looked nice and clean. When I stepped up to the counter to order, I asked for a pastelito de queso and a cafecito. The attendant, then proceeded to ask me what size of cafecito I wanted. Clearly Latina and working at a Cuban bakery, I looked at her and told her… there’s only one size for this. She pointed at the sample cups next to the register… four sizes in all… and told me to pick a size. I told her that the name itself implies what size it is. It’s not a cortadito, not a cafe con leche, not an americano. The attendant continued to argue with me about it until I pointed at the smallest cup ‍♀️ The pastelito was wayyyy too sweet (even by our Cuban standard) and the arguing ensured I won’t be visiting again. PS-It had zero espumita as well

The pastelitos, the pandebono, the empanadas are all 10/10. The staff was so nice.

☕️ Checking out Vicky Bakery in Davie, where consistency is the name of the game. The coffee and breakfast offerings are always the same. With a good amount of seating indoors and outdoors, it’s a comfy spot.

The service, while okay, doesn’t overshadow the overall positive experience. Kudos for always having decaf available! Plus, it’s more budget-friendly than most cafes.

These guys are either getting lazy with the quality of food or they are intentionally sending out old spoiled food.

I’ve been order the Cuban sandwich and for the past 3 times I’ve order the send out old shard bread that’s been toasted.

The Pastelito de carne have sour meat in them.

You would think for the price they charge for these items they would make them fresh to order.

It’s disappointing they stop caring about the quality of their food.

Amazing Latin bakery with the best cafe con lecheI have had in a long time! They have a case full of desserts and savory items and will also make you a breakfast/lunch sandwich. The employees are lovely and efficient and the restaurant is decorated super cute. I can’t wait to stop by again!

A staple in Southern Florida that offers delicious Cuban desserts. Highly recommend the Cubano coffee and the guava and cheese pastellito. They also have other fantastic cakes as well, and the best part is that each baked good has a low cost of ~$3.

The dining space is also quite nice with lots of open space, leather couches, and high chairs.
