We arrived around 8 p.m. on Saturday night and waited nearly 20 minutes to be seated. It also took quite some time for the server to take our order, and we had to wait again for our food. Overall, we spent too much time waiting. The utensils were also very dirty. However, the food was good, which was the only positive part of the experience.

After experiencing several over priced restaurant in Cali, our friends suggested that we visit Norms before heading to the airport and I’m glad that they did!
I ordered the 1/4 cheeseburger that came with fries and a drink all for $11.99! I wondered if we were still in Cali with those prices.
We had a party of 6 and although there weren’t many people in the restaurant, we ended up waiting a bit for our food.
But Laura made it up to us though.
While I really wish I could show you pictures of my food, I gobbled it down as soon as it touched the table.
I’m not sure if my burger was supposed to come with 2 patties of meat, but it did. The sandwich was so thick that I had to remove one of the patties! The lettuce and tomatoes were so fresh, they looked like what other restaurants promote in commercials!
My nephew ordered a milkshake and not only did she bring the milkshake in a glass but she also brought him the residuals, which added up to another half of a shake!
I will look to return when I go back to Cali. Coincidentally, I first saw the restaurant in a movie on the plane while heading to LA- so it was pretty cool going and I was very pleased with our experience.

Good employees Worst manager of a norms restaurant (Beverly) she needs to be trained on customer service and public relations. Some how she has no value for Norms customer( or maybe for some of the customer base on how we look)
We request a breakfast platter to go and she got so offended that we request to replace an item on the platter, she walked up to us with a loud voice and a bad attitude complaining about our order. I didn’t wanted to talk back to her just because of the level of anger that she was showing
I open a complaint case with corporate

The place was nice and we got sat down pretty quickly (it was around 7 pm or so). Its basically what you’d expect from Norm’s, if you’ve been. If not, its similar to a Denny’s, but large entrees come with a soup and salad.
I opted for a patty melt turkey burger and onion rings with an unsweetened iced tea. It took a bit to get our food, as its made to order. No complaints about the burger, but my onion rings had cooked onion peel in two of them… Guess they’re fresh, hey?
Our server was kind and sociable. She kept my wife and 2 year old stocked up on saltines and stayed on top of our drinks.
All said, wasn’t bad for dinner eats. The price is about $17+ for the more premium entrees, but the burgers are more reasonably priced.
Will eat there again if we need a later night dinner spot.

Norms Restaurant in Ontario gave us a truly enjoyable, classic diner experience from start to finish. The food was comforting, hearty, and cooked just right. I ordered the New York steak and eggs with hash browns, along with a short stack of pancakes, and everything came out hot, flavorful, and very satisfying. The steak was well prepared, the eggs were done perfectly, and the pancakes were soft and delicious. What really made the visit stand out, though, was our waitress Marina. She was excellent, very friendly, attentive, and welcoming the entire time. Marina checked on us often, made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it, and did it all with a genuine smile and great attitude. Her service truly elevated the whole meal and made us feel appreciated as customers. Because of the great food and Marina’s outstanding service, this is definitely a place we’d be happy to return to again. Plus the coffee mug was always topped off and hot!!

Cool retro vibe, pictures of food look good, extremely friendly staff. We place our orders with drinks, but waited over 30 minutes for food once i tracked the waitress down to let her know we didnt have all morning. Steak not seasoned or marinated… not worth the wait but not a huge waste of money.

This is the first time we’ve visited “NORMS” and the of us who visited found it to be a restaurant with good food, and excellent service.
We don’t live in an area with a “NORMS” so we wanted to try something different. Overall, we all thought that it was a good restaurant and experience, albeit some of the prices seemed a little steep. It likely would have been an average experience if the service wasn’t exceptional (our waitress in particular was amazing!)

To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to express my significant disappointment with the conditions and service I experienced during a recent visit to your Norms location at 4551 Mill Circle in Ontario.
Upon arrival with my family, we were greeted with a noticeably indifferent welcome. The hostess named Marina, however, was a notable exception. Ms. Marina, was attentive and helpful, taking our order efficiently and demonstrating a commendable work ethic.
Unfortunately, the positive interaction with the hostess was overshadowed by several serious issues regarding sanitation and cleanliness. The restrooms, both the men’s and women’s, were in a deplorable state. They had a strong, foul odor reminiscent of a truck stop. The door handles and surrounding surfaces were visibly stained with what appeared to be dirt. Inside the stalls, the smell of urine was overwhelming.
Furthermore, one of the soap dispensers was non-functional, and there was an abundance of paper waste scattered across the floor, highlighting a lack of regular cleaning and maintenance.
This disregard for cleanliness extended to the dining area. The tables felt sticky and were unclean. The front counter and register area also appeared unkempt and sticky. While the hostess was clearly making a valiant effort to clean and maintain her area, it seemed she was working without adequate support. It was particularly concerning to observe management personnel sitting and laughing while other employees, including the hostess, were working diligently.
Considering the visible state of the customer-facing areas, I have serious concerns about the conditions in the kitchen, where food is prepared. The food we received was not cooked correctly, which further diminished our experience.
I understand that this location received a “Grade A” from San Bernardino County on March 1, 2025. Based on my visit, the establishment’s sanitation and overall state of cleanliness would warrant a much lower grade, in my opinion.
This review is not a request for compensation but rather an effort to bring these serious issues to your attention. I hope that Norm’s corporate management will take this feedback seriously and address the sanitation, cleanliness, and management oversight issues at this particular location.

This is an amazing place for breakfast. My server Marina was absolutely wonderful. Perfect service, had the bigger better breakfast and Marina kept my coffee full. Will be back!

Wendi was our server, she was amazing! She did everything right and she did it with a smile. She brought my husband hot coffee, she brought extra napkins, she brought syrup before our pancakes arrived so we wouldn’t have to wait while our pancakes got cold. She brought us an extra plate before the food arrived as well. The bacon and hash browns came crispy as requested and the pancakes were buttered well and were hot. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
