January 30, 2026 came here for a burger at about 9:30pm.Get home start to eat my burger as I get to the middle it’s pure RAW! I break it up to look more in detail and I couldn’t believe it. We went back up there to report and all they could do is give me a refund that will maybe get back to me in 5-10 business days. Steak n Shake literally has the thinnest burgers ever, how are you undercooking it like this? Guy in the front had to call his manager because he wasn’t there and there was no consideration or anything..they just didn’t care. Don’t waste your money at this establishment.

The food was fine, normal, what you expect from steak n shake. My only concern was the neon green dots on random fries that was most definitely not part of the potato. The inside of the restaurant however, was not clean. The tables and trashcan surfaces had spilled and dried food on them (maybe not cleaned from the night before?) that a very sweet employee was trying her best to clean up as people were coming in. Ordering at a kiosk and getting your own drink is the new norm and worked well. Overall, it was a fine experience and mostly what we expected. If it was clean, we’d probably return.

The employees at this location were great. They were more involved and attentive with customers than I’ve seen elsewhere. It made for a very pleasant experience overall. The wait for food was short too, which was a nice bonus!

I’m extremely disappointed with this Steak ’n Shake. I placed a mobile order expecting a quick pickup through the drive-through, but instead I was told I had to come inside to get it. It’s 2025 — why can’t they give me my mobile order through the drive-thru like every other modern restaurant?

On top of that, this location constantly leaves items out of orders. It’s not a one-time mistake, either — it has happened to me nine out of the last ten visits. At this point, I basically expect something to be missing every time, which is unacceptable.

To make matters worse, the inside of the restaurant is noticeably dirty. The floors, tables, and drink station all looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a while. For a place that’s supposed to be fast and convenient, it just feels poorly managed.

I won’t be returning until they figure out how to fill orders correctly, allow mobile pickups through the drive-through, and keep the restaurant clean.

I am extremely disappointed. This is the second time I have visited this location, only to be informed at the drive-through that there will be a 10-minute or longer wait if I choose to order through the drive-through, or I can enter the establishment to place my order. I find this policy illogical. As a customer, it is unfortunate that Steak ‘n Shake’s revival has been marred by such inconveniences, and I hope the company will reassess its approach.

I put my order in at the kiosk on 10/30 and my card was charged. Maddie approached me and said their system went down and wasn’t taking orders. Yet 2 families came in behind me and she did not tell them this. My bank account was charged so I asked for a refund. She did not refund me, she voided the meal and closed the check (as it says on the receipt). Zero indication of a refund. She assured me my funds would be back on my card the following day.

10/31 no refund. Talked to another girl who said it would take 5 business days and to call back for Tina or Terrance to handle the refund if still not there.

11/6 still no refund. Talked to Terrance who said I had to bring the receipt in so he could process the refund from his computer and refund me cash, that this was company policy.

Unacceptable. I am unable to get to the establishment and regardless I didn’t make my purchase with cash. I have the original receipt and the voided receipt that I can provide any information needed. It was an electronic purchase therefore it can be refunded electronically.

Extremely unpleasant experience. I filed a complaint with the better business bureau.

Update: Terrance is now lying to the BBB claiming that he told me I had to call it in, which I in fact did. He refused to give me an electronic refund over the phone. Hence why I am in this situation.

At this point Steak ‘n Shake has stolen my
money and are taking no accountability.

I rarely ever get fast food so if I do, it’s usually a big deal & a special treat. My meal was pretty disappointing. My burger was extra greasy and the bun was extremely soggy. The cheese sauce was ice cold & my fries were just OK. Also waited in drive through for way too long. Won’t be back.

This place is awful. You can’t go through the drive-through anymore. You go in you place your order on a tablet. You wait 40 minutes for your food you get home the hamburgers are burnt to the point. You can’t eat them chili three-way taste like total crap the french fries were not even done. You try and call the manager. They never answer the phone stay away from this place. It’s awful.

This location has really taken a huge dive in the last few months. Often their “system” is down, so many excuses for why they can’t take your order. Tell you in the drive through it’ll be 15, 20 minutes to even be able to take your order and then when you say ok because your 8 year old has her heart set on her fav meal, they change their mind and tell you they aren’t taking orders via drive through and that you have to come in and do it on their customer kiosk. The last 4 visits have been some variation of this. Seems like it’s always a kid running things. They also prioritize online orders over actual customers in the store which seems backwards or at minimum unfair. Always out of something, chili or can’t make a shake etc. The location on Jungermann is much better managed.

This place needs work
Not one if the employees came from back to help anyone let alone me . They are a bunch of kids running the cafe ️. I didn’t see not one adult In charge lol . There was trash all over the floor and no one had sweeped the floors in a while and I mean a while. The bathrooms were messy also
I probably won’t be coming back to this resultant .
The only good thing I can say is the food was good and it was quick service you have to clean your restaurant . There is plenty of parking ️ but again I can’t recommend coming to this restaurant
