We love this place! Anytime we’re craving gyros, Funny Greek is our go-to spot. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. We’ve tried just about everything — gyros, catfish, fries, chicken wings, burgers — and it’s all been consistently delicious.
The owners and staff are wonderful — professional, friendly, and genuinely funny (the name fits!). They always make you feel welcome and appreciated. Their prices are also very reasonable, which makes it even better.
One of my favorite experiences was when I ordered a couple of pounds of lamb for a work potluck — they generously included pitas and tzatziki sauce too, and my entire team was impressed. It’s safe to say Funny Greek will be one of our go-to spots for a long time, and we’ll continue recommending it to friends and family. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out!
Very good experience, the food was good and service was fast. I highly recommend this restaurant
Food was awesome, overflowing with meat and goodies. Nothing FUNNY about it . Good prices and menu is decent.
I walk in first red flag, the halal meat spinning was new and just started cooking.
Which means they weren’t cutting it fresh. Which is the main purpose of real greek gryo meat.
Which also tells you, the meat is being served, has been sitting in metal containers, in water on the grill.
Also would explain how fast they made it.
The meats favor was diluted which would explain the sitting in water thing.
The gyro sauce was not traditional and sub par.
I monitor what food I take it. (don’t ask too long). So I know exactly what I eat every day.
Not joking, 3 hours later I felt sick.
2 hours after that I’m throwing up everything I ate there.
Yup food poisoning. I know my body very well. And when something I eat isn’t right my body gets rid of it.
I’m literally posting this 20 minutes after my body got rid of what I ate at the not so Funny Greek restaurant.
The only thing nice (personality) was the red head cashier who served me. That’s the 2 stars.
To the suspicious Greek male cooking on the grill “Ό,τι σπείρεις, θα θερίσεις”.
I do not recommend this so called Greek restaurant.
The good: fast and friendly. Consistent quality. Great taste.
The bad: traffic can be difficult, but their lot connects to other lots that allow an exit to Brice Rd. and not just livingston.
