Been in drive thru for an hour and 15 minutes but this dude has time to go outside and smoke. Then after finally ordering they make you pull forward without even taking another cars order. Maybe service would be quicker if you just handed people their order rather than having to walk it out. Absolute worst Popeyes I’ve ever been too. Will never be back. I advise management to clean house and restaff. After we finally got our food after an hour and 45 minutes in the drive thru and got home we were still missing items in our order. Thanks for ruining my family’s new year celebration and wasting nearly 2 hours of my life. If your staff doesn’t want t to work then they should do everyone a favor and stay home. Their jobs are not that difficult. Somebody tells you what they want and you give them what they asked and paid for.

I do grocery delivery & had to stop for some food. To be fair it was a during the slow time but still my 5pc tender was hot & fresh. The mash potatoes were good as expected and can’t forget the biscuit lol.

Let me start by saying I have had good service at two of the other locations in the St.Tammany area. However, this evening (10/21/25 6:30pm) I went into the resturant located at 701 N.Causeway in Mandeville. I was the only customer inside. I stood at the counter waiting to order for appx. 5-10 minutes as I watched the only person taking orders continue to respond to customers coming to the drive thru. I presume he was the manager based, in part, on his uniform, which was a gray button up shirt. At one point he began to walk in my direction, but received another call on his headset from someone at the drive tru. So, he held up his finger to signal me to wait while he went back to the drive up window. He eventually came to the counter to take my order. I asked him a question about the new chicken sandwich, which he answered. But, before I could give my order he left to rrespond to another customer at the drive thru. I asked him if I needed to go through the drive thru to order. He said someone else is working the counter. I told him I have been standing here awhile. Then, he rudely called out to the other staff, “someone take this guys order so he can go home.” There was a brief moment of confusion about who was going to take my order. Then a guy from the back came to the register. He looked to the manager unsure about using register, at which point the manager told him something about logging in. Popeyes has a good product. It is frustrating when you go into a resturant to dine and the staff prioritie customers at the drive thru. Worse,, as in this case, I was insulted by the manager when expecting my order to be taken in some order. I won’t be going back to this location.

This is literally consistently my worst Popeyes experience ever. I don’t know why I’ve continued to try and give them second, third, and fourth chances. I thought some of the Popeyes in the city were bad with service but this one takes the cake. Orders are NEVER right, they don’t tell you when they’re out of items, and they refuse refunds even with proof that you never got the items you paid for. This is now the third occasion that I’ve ordered “spicy” buffalo style wings and gotten their sweet sauce (hardly drizzled, not tossed) or another flavor not even close to the traditional spicy/buffalo. I also received an order with THREE missing items this time. Last time they only gave me half of my order, and the half that I received was incorrect. When I requested a refund (it was delivery), uber only offered me $2.60 refund on a total worth of $23 of items that were missing. That part may be an uber issue but, either way, I’m tired of having this Popeyes be the only restaurant I have this many egregious issues with.

Poor customer service. No signage on the doors or windows stating that the lobby was closed. I entered the lobby, stood on the lobby a few minutes, only for someone to tell me that the lobby is closed. Why wasn’t that mentioned upon entry? I asked the lady who told me that the lobby was closed, I said even for pick-up orders (2 bags were sitting on countertop awaiting pick-up) and she said yeah. I get in the drive thru and there are 5 cars ahead of me. It’s crazy to me that she didn’t even try to assist me with the orders already available for pick-up since I was in the restaurant already. So here I am, sitting in a long line, for possibly no reason. In the future Popeyes, if you have to close your lobby, lock your doors, put up signage. If you have not gotten the chance to do so, once a patron enters the establishment, make them aware instead of having them wait, and then having to wait in a long line.

Why doesn’t a KM know that during rush hour lunch at 12:30p on Sunday that people are coming.
Why we gotta wait 20-30 minutes to get to the window with 6 cars ahead.
Why we gotta wait for biscuits to cook.
Why we always gotta wait for spicy chicken….in Louisiana.
Why do they consistently tell us pull over to the side and wait.
Why is my order always wrong.

We need an owner on the northshore that know just minimally about how to run a business. Need a new GM for sure. Yall losing so much money always going so slow, making people wait and not having product cooked…..
It’s laughable.
My wife and I bet on what will be the problem when we come then remember we don’t want to come back.
Can we get an owner to open one who knows what to do.
It’s just silly..
Just came out and asked if I had strips.
I ordered Spicy Family box, large sides and extra sides…..

Pulled in Fri. about 1:15 long line inside and out side. I tried both because I was traveling and needed something delicious and quick. I sat for awhile line didn’t move. Went inside and that line was moving at a snails pace. Oh well my times up no food back on the road. Maybe next time !

This location literally NEVER remembers to give me all of my items. I’ve simply stopped calling it in when they forget things because it’s a pain. I have to check, and if I forget, I get home and I’m missing stuff. Every time. The food is always good tho and the workers are nice.
