Very friendly and efficient staff who checked in on us often during our lunch. Our group of 3 ordered 2 burritos and 6 tacos – it was the fastest we’ve ever had food turned around! Salsa bar was convenient and there was good variety. Overall, this was better value than Azul with no wait. We would come back again the next time we’re in Tahoe!

I haven’t tried other Mexican restaurants in the Lake Tahoe area but I can tell you I have eaten plenty of Mexican food in Mexico and around the world and I have to say this place is as close as you will ever get to the real deal! Authentic, delicious food! Carnitas, fish tacos, chicken, and delicious chips with salsa!

We ordered takeout through DoorDash and had a small hiccup with one missing item (it happens!). There was a bit of initial confusion, but the staff truly went above and beyond to make it right. Not only did they quickly fix the issue, they generously replaced some of the partially eaten items with completely fresh ones. That level of customer care really stood out.
As for the food — wow. We ordered two super burritos, one shrimp and one chicken, and both were absolutely delicious. Packed with flavor, super fresh, and seriously huge. You definitely get your money’s worth.

Amazing food! I came here with my Dutch family who are difficult to please. We ordered fish tacos, the super burrito with lengua, and the taco bowl with asada. everything was perfectly fresh and extremely well-seasoned. The salsa was AMAZING. They also have great vegetarian options, you can order roasted peppers instead of meat. The ambiance of the restaurant is very welcoming and “gezellig“ (as we say in Dutch, “cosy“ or “atmospheric”). We also shared a margarita, which was nice and strong. Perfect for a cold day. The service was also really great. They were very attentive and patient with my indecisive family. I highly recommend this place! Plus the waiter was really cute (I hope he doesn’t read this)

My favorite thing was the horchata. The ceviche was cut up super small and was a bit watery- it was okay but didn’t look very appetizing to me. I came here with a big group of friends and we got a bunch of different dishes to go (burritos, tacos, etc). Everyone liked their meals for the most part. I heard that the burritos especially were good. I also heard that the salsa (pico de gallo) was not very good. The pricing felt affordable but it also felt like you got what you were paying for in terms of food quality and presentation.

We picked up 4 steak burritos to go and they were all very good. They had plenty of guacamole and sour cream and a good amount of meat. The ratio was to meat, rice, and beans was very good. We will definitely be back when we are in the area to sit down and try different menu items.

The food was pretty good. Chile rellenos had a tad too much breading for my liking but were really good regardless. Ceviche tostada was really good. 7 mares, beef fajitas and the carne asada burrito were all very decent portions. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the service of the waitress/hostess. Didn’t really greet us upon arrival and didn’t seat us either. The waiter was very friendly.

We have stopped by here a few times while visiting Lake Tahoe and we are always happy to grab a bite at Los Mexicanos. The food is just so delicious and fresh. The staff is always kind and welcoming. Today I had a chili verde burrito. It was huge so I could only eat half. I would highly recommend it to anyone!
