Fire Stone is an independently-owned, energetic restaurant located in Historic Downtown Dothan, AL. We serve everything from wood-fired pizzas to chef-curated southern seafood dishes since 2010. This is a quaint family place that can easily seat 60. Beautiful atmosphere. Soft lighting, great seating and tables. Wood fire pizza grills, pasta, traditional pizzas, design your own pizzas, great appetizers, and salads. Really attentive customer service. We had pizza this time but when we come back we’ll try the pastas. The pizza was CRAZY DELICIOUS!!! Highly recommend this wonderful little restaurant!!!

We always love eating here, but tonight was special. We came to get our favorite desserts for our one year wedding anniversary. Kenzie was phenomenal!! We had such a fun and awesome dinner tonight! Everything was top notch, especially the service. I had the spinach salad and bacon wrapped shrimp and it was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long while. Our server, McKenzie, was so sweet and attentive. She had our drinks and food out promptly and had a smile on her face the entire time. I would easily request her for our future visits…and looking forward to coming back soon!

Traveling through the area with my 5 year old… I searched for Vegan food near me – google recommended this restaurant.
It was such a strange experience.
The staff seemed annoyed at having to work, and more interested in socializing among themselves than being bothered by a customer.
Their lunch menu was printed on regular paper, which I found a bit lacking for the price point.
They did not, in fact, have vegan options. Vegetarian and gluten free yes, vegan no.
So I opted for a salad and some pasta with marinara sauce. I also ordered some garlic knots. My 5 year old got some spaghetti from the kids menu.
When my food arrived, I was absolutely stunned at how delicious it was!!!
Truly mind blown!
I did have to chase down the server and interrupt her social time after waiting like 10 minutes wondering if I would ever get my salad.
She finally brought it about 5 minutes later.
It was also absolutely delicious!
My garlic knots came last and they were literally black on top.
Not sure if that’s how they were supposed to be???
But I pulled off the black parts and they were also freaking phenomenal! Even burnt!
Some of the best food I’ve ever had lol.
My bill was about $53 for just myself and my child.
At that price it does seem like the staff would be a bit more professional… but the food was so good it’s like maybe I was just lucky to eat there at all and they know it???
I dunno haha. Would I recommend? Absolutely. Just don’t expect 5 star service lol

They do not have a gluten-free menu, but they are knowledgeable about gluten and cross-contamination and are able to adapt many items on their menu to suit.
I had the shrimp & grits and it was phenomenal. My partner went with the pork chops and thought they were perfect.
Our server was pleasant, courteous, and knowledgeable about the menu. Service was prompt.

The food was good. It would have been better with more seasoning, especially the Chicken Marsala. It was very bland. The asparagus was delicious. Next time I will try the pizza since this is their specialty. The atmosphere was nice for a date night.

This is one of my favorite places in town. As a vegetarian it’s really hard to find fresh veggies and a good friendly atmosphere. My favorite bartender is Sierra.. this is very kind, clean, and always remembers my order. That makes me feel special you know. Firestone is a rare gem here in Dothan. Love the place because of the food but mainly because of the people!

This was our all time favorite place for over a year, kinda went downhill for a little bit but made some necessary changes and tonight was really good, eggplant parm appetizer was slightly over cooked but still pretty good. Steak cooked perfectly. Added a few new items, service was great (shout out to Crystal) I was super pleased with our first visit back.
