This Taco johns use to be our favorite. Now it has gone down hill especially on evening and weekends. We waited 30 mins for our food. What was supposed to be dine in ended up being take out. My crispy taco was ice cold like it wasnt even cooked. Along with way smaller portions then normal. No one let us know what was going on. Along with drive thru being served faster then dine in. You had people just standing around. Along with the supervisor, telling someone they needed to stay inside instead of taking out the trash. Listen he wouldnt be able to have any faster service even if he did stay inside. Not only that you had three people just standing around. This place use to be kind, fast and friendly. Now it is a horrible experience.

First time here. We like it. A step up.. well maybe sideways from taco bell. Love the tots and cheese dip. Inside reminds me of a krystals. Choicenof music tells me they don’t know their customers. We shall return.

Taco Johns in RC, SD consistently cuts portion sizes on specials including Taco Tuesday and now the buy one super burrito get one for a dollar. Barely enough ingredients to make one burrito. Had the exact same order on 3/22/24 in Hot Springs, SD and could barely finish them. I have been eating at Taco Johns since 1977 so I think I can tell the difference from their “specials” to the normal menu items. Too bad, I normally enjoy Taco Johns!

Wow. First they completely messed up the order then instead of getting things straightened out the guy at the window decided to argue. The manager was rude as hell, and I won’t ever go back to this location.

I’m only giving it 3 stars because why do regular potato oles have hardly any seasoning and if you ask for a little extra they put so much on it makes them not edible. All I wanted was a tiny bit of extra seasoning not to die of salt poisoning.

I ordered 3 meals and it wasn’t busy at all. It took awhile to get our food. They put 3 meals in one bag, so it was about to rip. Once we got home one of my wife’s fiesta tacos was unwrapped and laying in the bottom of the bag like they just threw it in there. Clearly they dont care, which scares me because that means they probably dont care about kitchen cleanliness or food quality. Taco John’s is too expensive for that to happen. I much rather go to Taco Bell now, because I have never had that happen and they’re way cheaper too. Taco John’s use to be great, but seems to be going down hill.

From out of town. Craving a taco and saw Taco John’s. Pleasantly surprised at price, $5 for 2 chicken tacos. Food was yummy, service was excellent, and dining area needed swept but otherwise is clean and kept up. Worth every penny! Give it a try I’m sure you’ll be as pleased as I was eating here.
