Came in off a long drive. Was greeted graciously and seated. Service was great, food.. perfectly cooked and flavored. I didn’t add salt or pepper. Tabasco for the gravy. Price was right. Comfortable and lots of parking even RV. Just west off the beach you can camp on, with a permit from most local retailers.

First time at this Hidden Gem! Had the 18 oz Ribeye it was delicious tender and a very large steak! We also had the Burger and some shrimp! Totally recommend it!

We had the steak dinner special last week. It included a 12oz ribeye, 4 shrimp, choice of potato and salad bar. Our steaks were cooked perfect! The fries were very good, bake potato was great with plenty of toppings as you are encouraged to use the salad bar for the potatoes. Our bill was $42 before the tip.
Today we stopped in for lunch and ordered burgers. Again, the meat was cooked perfect & the fries are so delicious! Our bill was $27 before tip. Both meals were very affordable!
We were hesitant to stop here because it wasn’t rated very high online but we were pleasantly surprised and extremely satisfied! The only negatives I can say would be the salad bar has minimal toppings, but the meals were so good that it doesn’t matter. The other is that smoking in the bar area is allowed. Of course that drifts into the dining area. We come from a state we’re all smoking is banned in public areas so this was an adjustment for us.

I went there for the first time and food was not that great, especially for the prices. Service was good, but lied to. Server said seafood platter was a lot of food and can be split between two ppl, but he must of thought 2 little kids. I got 6 fried shrimp and 5 baby pieces of fried catfish and bake potato, that was not worth $25.00. Pizza tasted like it was microwaved, but French fries was the best thing out of everything. Then I fell through the big red chair out front that you can take pictures in and told staff and didn’t even ask if I was okay or nothing, just oh ok and went about their business. My leg hurt and the food was not worth eating and expensive. Very bad experience. Won’t go there again!

We decided to eat here on 2/21/26. Food wasn’t worth the prices. I believe we were way overcharged. Server was awesome. They have 2 oversized chairs out front you can sit in and take pictures. My brother ended up falling thru due to weakened boards. He told staff what happened and they didn’t even ask if he was ok…just ok thanks for telling us. Definitely not a place we would want to visit again.

Came here on the way back from Galveston for lunch. The restaurant itself is super cute and very beachy. Our waitress was extremely kind! The food here was absolutely delicious. The mozzarella sticks were gigantic, and the burger was the best burger I’ve ever had! We will definitely be coming back one day!!

We ordered seafood gumbo and a cheeseburger. Both were fairly underwhelming. Burger was decent, but nothing special. The gumbo lacked any real depth of flavor. Salt, pepper, and some hot sauce from the table helped bring it to life but at was just “meh”
It’s definitely a bar first, grill second. Opening the front door was a face full of cigarette smoke odor.
Waitress was nice and very much a southern charm.

The food was good. It was served in a timely manner. The prices are reasonable and on the menu. As a local, this place is a cool coastal hangout. Parking is abundant, and the area is easy to find. Our waitress was sweet and helpful. The tvs are nice and large. We will be back.

First time to Crystal beach, stopped in for a quick lunch had the fried mushrooms, during our visit I think it was the owner that brought a koozie for my beer! Love the hometown feel and the food was fantastic! The fried chicken wrap and Philly cheesesteak was awesome! Such a cute place! Great restaurant and will absolutely come back! Service was awesome and fast!
