I ordered the 3 entree combo and got the broccoli beef as one of my choices. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the portion size. The broccoli was fine, but the beef was barely there. There were only a few small pieces of beef, and they were served in a tiny red box that didn’t seem to match the usual portion sizes I’ve seen before.

Five stars for every piece of fresh ingredients they use for their dishes. They use an actual wok that really seals in the flavor. This is our first time dining here since we usually go by their drive thru. Food is ready faster than a typical food chain. Food still warm and if youre lucky it would still be hot off the wok since they always cook a new batch. Employees were friendly as always

I never thought I’d have to write a review like this, but my experience at Panda Express (Winston-Salem location) was absolutely unacceptable. I ordered the Super Greens, and to my shock and disgust, I found a fully cooked grasshopper mixed in with the vegetables. This wasn’t a small insect—this was a large, noticeable bug that should have never made it past quality control.
I immediately lost my appetite and was completely disturbed by what I saw. Food safety should be the top priority of any restaurant, and the fact that something like this ended up in my meal is beyond alarming. It raises serious concerns about how their ingredients are cleaned and handled.
I have reported this to the local health department, and I strongly urge management to take this issue seriously. I also want others to be aware of this incident, because finding a foreign object—especially something as unsanitary as an insect—in food is completely unacceptable.
Panda Express needs to step up their food safety practices immediately. I will never eat here again unless I see clear evidence that they have improved their standards.
If you care about cleanliness and food safety, think twice before eating here.

Order to go. And I’m shocked at the portions. Literally I had four broccoli and a little bit of the super greens. Feel like they were truly slacking today. I have been to this location multiple times and it’s never been this horrible.

When Panda Express started, the food was really good, but since they have been in business, the food gets progressively worse and worse. The last time I ordered which is today, 11/19/25, it made my son sick (orange chicken)& he threw up, what I ordered (pepper chicken) thank God it didn’t make throw up but it wasn’t good at all, there was barely any chicken, just alot of NASTY rice. The sauce was yuck, I ended up throwing it away. I don’t recommend eating there. The food USE to be good but now it’s NASTY & LACKING a lot. EAT @ YOUR OWN RISK.
