The Bourbon Brown Sugar Ribeye is where it’s at! Such flavor. We came while a live musician was playing which gave great atmosphere. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. Looking forward to being back in the area so we can dine again.

Our S.W.A.T. Team (Seniors With A Testimony) from Blooming Grove Baptist Church in Jasper, AL ate lunch here. There was 14 of us… a week before Christmas! There were several other large groups here at the same time. Even with our waitress being busy – she was very attentive. Our drink glasses were always topped off without any of us needing to ask.

The building holds such history! As you walk to be seated you will pass so many interesting things! Take a bit and take it all in!

With so many of us ordering food – I believe we had a really good idea of the dishes offered. Steak, hamburger steak, coconut chicken, the island chicken, Mahi Mahi and more! Side dishes of tossed salad, steamed broccoli, sweet potato fries, sweet potato casserole, baked potato and more. Everyone was impressed with their meal. Meats were seasoned and had the desired cook to each one. All side dishes were excellent.

Each area was decorated with Christmas festivity! The staff commented that they’ve been very busy this season. Even on days they are closed to the public – private groups had Christmas parties! I can understand why! Between the atmosphere and Christmas decor to the wonderful staff and excellent food this definitely would be a desired venue! This restaurant is great for groups — or for date night!

Stopped in for lunch on the way traveling to Nashville. Quiet, romantic feeling location.the detail put into the location adds to the experience with the luggage bags sitting like passengers are waiting for the train. A train even swooped by as we were eating! Very nice experience! We got the pimento cheese appetizer and the pita chips were fresh cooked before it was brought out! We got the island chicken for our entree with mashed potatoes (real potatoes, with chunks here and there) and turnips. Reasonable pricing and our server was a sweetheart as well! Very good experience and will come visit again in the future when traveling!

Our server was amazing!!! The food was so delicious! Such a cool spot. We were traveling from Tennessee to Florida and this was a great stop! Save room for the strawberry cake! Totally worth it!

Drove over from Cedar Bluff to have a meal & it was worth the drive. Historic building with a lot of character, the food was fantastic, & the service was great.

We stopped in here last night and our bill was $92. That wasn’t the issue. The under cooked baked potato and well done steak was so chewy. I ordered medium and received well done. The vibe inside is so nice but the food was NOT worth what I paid! Very disappointing!!!!!

Service was good. Food was good! I would go back here to eat! The coolest thing is that this used to be a train depot. Even cooler while we were eating a train went by!

We got here a little after 11am when they open. Things seemed a little unorganized but they seemed to get everyone taken care of. They had a huge group come in so they were all tending to that so I definitely don’t blame them.

Our server was great. Poor things all of them running around to the big group. Their name is Preston.

I had the buffalo chicken fingers, fries, and Italian pasta salad. It was all good. The chicken fingers juicy and the fries perfect crisp. Their ranch is good as well.

Can’t wait to go back and try their other food.

They do have a parking lot at the end of the building but it is smallish.

Delightful, rustic atmosphere and very pleasing to ones pallet.
Food is Americana with Southern touches and all the flavors are wonderful. They have live instrumental music on Fridays to round out the ambiance. Enjoy a historic venue while passing through; it is worth it and lunches are fantastic as well.

The food was phenomenal! We were seated within 2 minutes. The service was fast and our waiter/waitress was very friendly! My friend and I just so happened to stumble upon this charming restaurant while dress shopping and are very happy we did. We will definitely be traveling back to this place! It had a lovely small town hallmark Christmas atmosphere!

So last night we door dashed prime rib and which was , but tonight did not meet the mark. Yes I understand it is not home cooked, but if you have long hair put it back. I do not like having deep fried hairs wrapped around my onion straws and the au jus was brown water. Any person knows that you should taste test things before you serve them to your customers all night. So this will do in a pinch
