Quick stop after a day of golfing. Food was good, queso was thick as it should be and tacos were yummy! We sat at the bar to watch the rest of the Saturday golf tournament, service was extremely quick and prices are very good! If you haven’t been don’t sleep on this spot!

1st time here and loved all that we ate. Lots of choices so a bit overwhelming but it was so good. Burrito El Cazador (steak – great flavor, nice portion), Yulissa Peppers ( green & red pepper with chicken, so yummy!!!) And the flan for dessert. We definitely will be back. Waitress was very knowledgeable of the dishes and very helpful.
Restaurant was clean. I saw someone say bathroom was dirty, it could use a bit of paint or sprucing but was not bad.
Definitely give this restaurant a try!!!

We were seated right away. They do offer a lunch menu, but we chose to order from the main menu.
While the free cheese dip is nice, it lacked flavor. Also, if you prefer spicier salsa, ask for the salsa Verde.
Atmosphere was country western which was a bit unusual for a Mexican restaurant…unless is tex Mex (that’s why Atmosphere is 3 stars)
Server was quick to refill drinks without us having to ask. Very attentive.
Food was decent enough. I prefer other Mexican restaurants in the area.
The prickly pear margarita is a must! We shared the 22 Oz.

Recent review: went for breakfast got the Colorado burrito. It was fantastic. The service was GREAT and Bloody Mary’s were fantastic. 10/10 go to this place. It was dead at 10am but everyone was working. Amazing place.

This is the best Mexican food in liberty, hands down. They bring you FREE cheese dip to your table as soon as you sit with fresh chips and salsa. They have a huge menu with so many delicious options. FRESH hand made tortillas you can watch them being made as soon as you enter the restaurant. I ordered steak tacos and a shrimp enchilada with jalapeño cream cheese sauce and it was so good. They make great margaritas as well. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Decided to try this for a change. We were not disappointed. It was busy, and parking was not easy, but once inside there was no real wait to be seated. We got a banana margarita to try and it was good. The tacos were good, you can tell the tortillas were fresh. The salsa was okay, a little too much cilantro for my liking. However you also get cheese dip for the table and it was good. The nachoes were not what we were expecting but they were okay. Service was acceptable, it is a little pricey compared to some other Mexican restaurants, but with the chips salsa and cheese dip included for every table makes up for it some.

El Potro isn’t horsing around: this place top tier Mexican food right here in the Northland. Lots of places to sit. The lunch menu had over 50+ different combinations of food to pick from. Loved the complimentary cheese dip & salsa. Happy to report they serve Dr Pepper Can’t wait to come back!

Great portion sizes and appearances of food are very appealing. The chimichangas/burritos are huge. I strongly recommend their borracho beans instead of regular pinto or refried beans. They have so much more flavor
