Alamitos is an unexpected gem. At a glance, you’re probably thinking a Mexican restaurant in a more remote area of town beside a gas station can’t be that good. You’d be wrong. It’s fantastic. Great food, great drinks, reasonable prices. Go out of your way to try them out. I guarantee you’ll be pleased.

The Cachitos was steak, chicken & shrimp brought together with a beautiful sauce including onion, bell pepper & pineapple!!! Oooooh Lala! We visited on a Thursday night and found the restaurant fairly busy. We had a party of seven and some we’re already there when we arrived. We were welcomed and were quickly served our drink orders. Our orders were taken and the food came from the kitchen quickly. One in our party had a food allergy to capsaicin and was accommodated without incident. All the food was presented well and tasted great. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant was clean and while not decorated like some outlandish restaurants completely acceptable. Our server Freddie was super friendly and helpful. The frozen margaritas were delicious!!
