Absolutely love this restaurant! Leslie was our waitress and I can’t say explain terrific her customer service skills were… She was helpful, patient, efficient, knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. The fried shrimp was delicious and I don’t even like shrimp! Fried Crab Claws were tasty.
My daughter and I ate at David’s last night, and we both left disappointed. The service was extremely slow considering there was a handful of customers. My daughter had the fried oysters and she said it was mostly breading and everything was just blah. I had the hamburger steak and cheese grits. If I gad to compare the hamburger steak to anything it would be comparable to Banquets Salisbury Steak with raw onions. Cheese grits were good and coleslaw was good Texas toast was missing butter and any flavor. David’s is one of the places I said I wanted to eat again before leaving town, and was extremely disappointed all around.

I would never return here considering there are so many other options. Something is bad wrong in the kitchen, our meal took forever and there were only 3 tables of people eating in the whole restaurant. We had ordered a simple fried combo and AYCE shrimp, and it was super slow. In fact a couple came in after us we ordered and got their meal before us. The initial meal took over 20 minutes and AYCE refills took 20 minutes and we are talking popcorn shrimp with an empty restaurant. I guess this restaurant will ensure you don’t get “too much” by making you wait forever between refills. The food was decent but no excuse for the horrible service therefore it’s a one and done for us.

The food was amazing. I ended up getting the all you can eat catfish and each piece came out hot and fresh. Let me not forget the cheese grits. Wanna talk about perfection, those grits were amazing. It perfectly complemented the well cooked catfish. Customer service was also great. The waitress always came back to check and see if we needed anything. I definitely will return.

Had the $5.00 lunch basket special that ends 8/16 and it was awesome. Catfish basket, popcorn shrimp basket and fried green tomatoes. I would have liked green onions in my hush puppies but still Kudos to the chef. Our server Maddy was outstanding. Thank you for the amazing food and great service.

The fish and shrimp were excellent and came out piping hot! The cheese grits were just ok to me and were not hot. It took a few minutes before someone come to seat me, a little odd being that they were not busy or anyone waiting ahead of me. But the fish and shrimp were good so I’ll be back for more.

Typical old seafood restaurant. Great waitress. Got a salad with popcorn shrimp on top and the special of fried shrimp. Popcorn shrimp were a little chewy. Large shrimp were better. 2nd best hush puppies we’ve had in Pcola.

My fiancee likes fish, I don’t but looked up the menu in advance and saw options for people like me so we went. We had mozzarella sticks and fried green tomatos for appetizers. He got the AYCE combo while I ordered the small ribeye with baked potato and french fries. It did take a while to get our main dishes. The mozzarella sticks were fine but the marinara sauce was watery, the fiancee had no complaints about the tomatoes and the ranch they have is awesome. Now I’m going to preface this with the fact my bar was already low since I was ordering a steak at a seafood restaurant BUT even this took the cake. It was way under cooked, I ordered medium, and the color was just off. We told our server that we wanted to sub for chicken tenders instead, the manager came out and told us a lot of people send the small ribeye back – she said to always get the large ribeye if you order a steak there. The server was nice but it didn’t seem like the food was worth the cost.

Ladies are always welcoming and provide great service! Restaurant has an air filtration system and a spacious atmosphere. The food is piping hot and delicious. I’m a fan of their lemon pepper catfish with cheese grits, turnip greens and hush puppies. My father absolutely loves their sweet potato fries with a cinnamon dip.

Barely got a cup of rice, a meager handful of steak, and cold gravy and fries. I had not taken any bites at the time of the attached photo.
I had just finished mixing it all together, desperately pleading with any of the potential gods above to somehow increase my portion size.
For what it’s worth, the toast was pretty good.
