Most delicious and exotic brunch place in Gatineau by FAR. Service was quick, never once had to ask for any refill and I drank like five cups of water, waitress could almost read our minds and would then ask us what we wanted. Atmosphere was great, simple yet so intricate location right in the heart of Hull. Parking was no issue, suggest going on the weekends to avoid paying for it. Also beautiful walk around it, a must in Gatineau for sure!

This is a great place to go for a variety of quaint and creative dishes, putting a delightful spin on home cooked dining. We went there for brunch and it was very cozy when we walked in. The latte and cappuccino were delicious. we may have missed a foamed moustache photo opportunity… would be very interested to try other dishes on the menu!

Had the bobinette and my cuz had the moby Dick. Overall it was like a 6 on 10 for both. It’s a chill place and apparently over hyped by Tiktok (as per my cuz) but I still found it cozy (mind you, I’ve never seen any vidéos or pics of the place).
The food took some time to come. The food was so so. It was average, wasn’t overwhelmingly good nor was it bad, just ok. It was a bit bland for my liking. Fruits were not many. We both got mimosa, mine was pamplemousse and has with orange juice. I was disappointed with my drink, didn’t taste hers

Went there for brunch with friends. Place is very cozy and welcoming. Staff is friendly. Overall experience was smooth and nice. Food was very delicious, and portions were big. Prices very affordable, and they have coffee Nespresso, which is amazing. Would like to recommend this place, but better call them and ask for table in a prior, as place gets busy very quickly.

This was my first visit after hearing so much about the place and the hype is definitely real. We went for dinner on a Saturday night, and although the place fills up quickly, the atmosphere is really relaxed and enjoyable. We were a small group of 10 and not only was the food excellent but the service was also friendly and top-notch. We had the club des 100 Watt Club Sandwich and the Arancini stuffed with cheese and both dishes were amazing. I highly recommend this wonderful local restaurant, and we will definitely be back!

We went there for brunch and ordered the quesadillas and the grilled cheese with smoked duck. Overall both dishes were amazing. The grilled cheese was so different, never had anything like this with the blueberries on top. We both got chai latte and it was overall good but a little too sweet for my liking. We had a reservation, which made it easy for us and i would definitely recommend because it was quite packed. In terms of noise levels it was sometimes hard to hear each other as the place got quite noisy, so I wouldn’t recommend if looking for a quite place to chat but it would definitely be great for a group of friends.

Great experience, need to make a reservation in advance. We went for the outaouais tasting menu which was amazing, well worth the price.

We chanced upon this lovely bistro en route to Ottawa and were so pleasantly surprised! As tourists, we were initially confused by all the French road signs — and then the menu here was entirely in French too!
They don’t have an English menu, but thankfully, our server graciously translated every dish for us in detail. Through him, everything just sounded delicious — and truly, it was.
The arancini with Brussels sprouts and cream was unbelievably fresh and flavourful — a plant-based dish that completely won me over.
The poutine? Next level. Topped with tender beef, it was rich, hearty, and absolutely divine.
The fish served over carrot risotto was just what we needed — comforting, elegant, and beautifully balanced.
And the drinks… out of this world!
A fun tidbit: our server shared that we were on the Quebec side, where French is the main language (even road signs!). But just a short drive over to Ottawa (15 mins?) and you’ll find people mostly speaking English, with a touch of Italian in some neighbourhoods. Fascinating contrast for a road trip!
We loved this little stop — thank you for making our detour so memorable.
Highly recommend popping by for lunch if you’re passing through. Totally worth it!

By far the most delicious and exotic brunch spot in Gatineau. The service was incredibly quick we never once had to ask for refills, even though I went through about five cups of water. Our waitress seemed to read our minds, always showing up right when we needed something and anticipating our requests perfectly.
