Lively, compact Mexican restaurant and bar with friendly staff and appreciative customers. I loved the nachos, which come in full or half order and with choice from several meats. The barbacoa was great on the nachos. For a drink, the El Corazon Salvaje was a spicy, fruity medley. They have an extensive drink menu including a margarita flight.
They have counter seating at their wrap-around bar along with many tables inside and out on a shaded patio. There are also couches near the entrance for to-go orders and some seating on a sun porch outside the entrance.
They have weekday happy hours and monthly drink specials.
They have a large free parking lot with access to several adjacent businesses.

I wanted tacos and couldn’t figure out where since I’m new to this area. I am so thankful I drove past this place and said let me give them a try gotta be better than taco casa right?
OMG some of the best service I’ve ever experienced nice friendly kind very patient with me while really trying to discover what I want. I ordered three of the Cristian specials carnitas barbacoa and my favorite el pastor I ordered an extra plate of whatever the waitress favorite was just to see what the people who worked here like and boy was I super happy with the Tampique corn with chicken enchilada with chilies and con queso. While waiting I ordered a flight of margaritas amazing my fav was the mango. This place was amazing very reasonable as well for two adult meals and drinks and one fed I paid less than $65.00 they will definitely see me again my lil fav go to spot and the patio in the back that’s covered and room temperature so it’s not as cold as the restaurant hands down the best decision I’ve made this week thankful for the lil stop on the side of the hwy

Went for a late lunch and while we enjoyed the overall meal, we left with some favorite items and wishing for more from others. The fajita taco, vaquero beans, and gringa were great. Pastor was okay.
Service was good but they did forget pineapple on the pastor tacos. We felt the prices were $3-5 more per meal than we would have liked to pay. We would go again and just ordered the items we really liked.

Tacos are really good! Didn’t really care for the red enchiladas but the green sauce was good. We’ve dined in and order take out, service is always friendly and prompt. Overall a nice place with good vibes.

My wife and I used to frequent this restaurant, and during COVID (2020) would go pickup meals and their Mango Margarita to go.
Today – I ordered food and Margaritas online for me to pickup. When I got home with the food and drinks I find that the “bistek taco” is only a single taco… (but the picture shows 2 tacos) so I got home and find we were 2 tacos short since I placed an order of one with flour and one with corn. The description does not say that it is a single taco… my mistake in believing $5 was for only a single taco. These tacos are small and certainly not worth $5 each… and the picture or text should spell that out.
Then on top of it all – there was an automatic charge of 20% tip (and I picked up – there was no delivery).
This will be the last time here…. We like their Mango Margaritas but it is not worth what we are paying…

Excellent food. The queso fundido was great! I visited on Valentine’s Day and I walked out with a beautiful red rose. Nice touch.

The food is always delicious. The service is not so good. Our server forgot one of our orders, didnt acknowledge it nor apologize for it. When it came time to pay, he input the full amount and included the tip, instead of allowing me to input the tip myself. I believe that to be a bit presumptuous. I tried to edit it, and I wasnt able to. Although the food is delicious, we will not be back. This is the second time we’ve had issues with our check when it came time to pay.
The atmosphere is decent, although the music is a bit louder than I’d like.

Pretty good food. Would say it’s a little overpriced is all. My friend doesn’t eat meat or cheese and the server offered to accommodate that without us even asking. Amazing! Service. They made him a taco with veggies they had. The street corn is pretty good, a little runnier than I expected, kind of like street corn soup almost or dip, but still spicy and good.

We had dinner here tonight and everything was as good as the last time we came. My wife had the 6 taquito special with bistek and she said it was delicious! I had the enchiladas de pollo con crema and it was really good. The chips and salsa they bring you is so good that we kept getting refills of chips. I also had the Agua de Horchata and it was done perfectly, too bad they charge for a refill since it’s $4.50 to begin with! The rice and beans were not that good this time, beans were just basic and bland and the rice was a bit hard. The server took a while to come get our order after they sat us down, had to ask 3 times for more chips. We will definitely come back since overall it was a good experience because of the atmosphere and the overall taste of the food. Give them a try and see what you think!
