We arrived around 3:00 PM. The restaurant opens at 12:00 PM, and it was not busy at all. There were about five to six employees standing at the front when we walked in, yet we were not greeted. We had to ask where to sit, and were told we could sit at the bar or elsewhere. We chose the bar and sat there for about 10 minutes. No one came over. No water, no greeting, no acknowledgment. Meanwhile, staff members were still standing near the front. We eventually moved to another section where other guests were seated. Even then, we were not properly greeted. Another 10–15 minutes passed with no service and still no water on the table. I had to ask to place our order and request water again. We were at the restaurant for approximately 40-55 minutes and still never received the drinks we ordered.
When my food arrived, I began eating. Shortly after, I discovered what appeared to be a blonde, curly hair inside my food. At that same time, health inspectors were inside the restaurant. I called for assistance, and no one immediately came over. When someone finally did, she removed the item and showed it to the cook. After a few minutes, she returned and asked if I wanted it remade.
At that point, I no longer felt comfortable eating the food. I requested that it be removed from the bill. Instead of handling the situation professionally, I was told that I would still need to pay for it. I was also told, “You can just pay and get out.” The tone was dismissive and rude, especially in front of other guests. There was no manager available to address the issue. The service was unprofessional from beginning to end. Between the lack of greeting, long wait times, missing drinks, hair in the food, and rude response, the experience was unacceptable.
I truly hope management addresses both the service standards and professionalism at this location.
Thank you Cookie for your laughs and hospitality. See you in March!!!
I mean these guys were SUPER attentive to EVERY need. Everyone had SUPERB customer service!! They weren’t overwhelming, they showed just the right amount of attention. They even gave my mom a rose!!!
It wasn’t just our waitress, EVERYONE that walked by pretty much checked on us.
All of the food was fresh, from the sweet potatoes fries to the crab legs.
WHAT’S CRAZY IS THAT, MY WAITRESS WAS SO GOOD THAT HER PERSONALITY REMINDED ME OF MYSELF. SO I JUST HAD TO ASK HER WHAT HER SIGN WAS. SHE WAS A CANCER LIKE ME❤️ ♋️ NOT ONLY that, we had the exact same birthday 7/7!!
Some wait staff will expect you to tip even after they’ve given poor CS. These guys seem like they just enjoyed their jobs!!!
Folks like this will make me tip them my entire check, good customer service is hard to find these days.
So thank you guys!!! Well be back this weekend!!
