Great burger, good service, convenient location.

Some friends of ours recommended this place to us. It is located at the start of the food court in the main mall complex. There are actually some interesting places there. Maybe next time.

We got the Combo that came with fries and a drink. The burger came with lettuce, mayo and tomato. It was big. 6.6 onces. We asked to cook to medium and it was perfect. Extra toppings are more. The fries were good, homemade style and double criped. We tried the wasabi mayo , sweet chili dip and sun dried tomatoes and caper. They were all good but the last one, surprisingly, was the best. Ketchup and mustard was complementary.

It did not take long to get out order but the place was not busy at the time. Seatung was either outside or in the food court area.

The burger was amazing. The service was incredibly relaxed, no one seemed to be in a rush but we were on holiday so was happy just chilling. Staff are very friendly and the atmosphere was great. There are shops nearby to visit if there is a long wait on food.

Burger is a decent size. Fries are big enough to share. Burger had a slight gamey taste, so its fresh Waimea grass fed beef. Order toppings which is extra.

The lady ringing us up left much to be desired. Not a friendly face in sight. It’s at a food court, so we asked how we would be notified when the food was ready. They said someone would come out and call for us. No one called for us. We went to check and our food was just sitting on the counter. The bun tasted like they toasted stale bread. The fries were cold. They asked us if it was “for here” or “to go”. We said “here” and everything was bagged up. I asked for a plate and they said they didn’t have any. Why ask if it’s “for here” or “to go” then?

I ordered the Wagyu burger medium-rare, but it came well done. It was dry and lacked both flavor and juiciness – definitely not the “big, rich and bossy” burger promised on the menu.

We’ve always enjoyed the burgers at Village Burger – but lately they seemed to stepped their game up to 11. The Parmesan goop fries are so cheesy they are practically a meal unto themselves. And my last bacon burger (eaten at lunch time) was so big that I skipped dinner that night. Really enjoy the juicy, grass fed burgers – and since they are local we feel comfortable ordering them medium rare – even for the kids. I highly recommend the Parmesan fries and burger with slow cooked onions, cheese and bacon. We like the wasabi mayo and sweet chili mayo to take it even more over the top. We only wish they would stay open until 6pm (or later!)! It’s so easy to order online and there are so many times we’ve wanted dinner but they are already closed!

I must’ve came on an off-day. I arrived and placed a (typical) order of burger, fries, and drink around 1:45pm, but didn’t get my food until 2:25pm. That’s a 40-minute wait for casual fast food! If it was the best burger of my life, I may not have minded, but it was pretty average. Like I said, it may have unfortunately been an off-day for the staff. I can’t imagine repeat customers for that long of a wait.

No friendly greeting when we arrived — the woman who took our order looked serious and grumpy, and the whole staff didn’t seem very happy. We ordered anyway and waited about 20 minutes for our food, with several people ahead of us also waiting. I actually finished my chocolate shake (which was delicious!) before our food even came.

We drove 30 minutes from our resort for an “Hawai‘i burger,” and I was really disappointed. The burger came completely crumbled and loose, with no seasoning or flavor. Both of us ordered the Hawai‘i burger, but it was just a plain, broken-apart patty with lettuce, tomato, and mayo. I wanted to request cheese and pineapple, but even without that, I’m not sure what was supposed to make it Hawaiian. It was supposed to have brisket too, but I didn’t taste any.

The Parmesan fries were okay — I actually added some into my burger just to get more flavor.

The only reason I gave any stars at all was because the chocolate shake was amazing.

What the heck. These burgers are too good to possibly exist. We got the Hawaii Island Beef Burger, and the juicy brisket was so insanely tasty that I was left speechless. The truffle fries were excellent too and came with a great amount for the price. Food came out pretty fast despite it being crowded.

10 minutes later Update: Had to get another burger since the first one disappeared too fast. This time the veal burger. It was drier than the brisket burger since it used actual ground beef, but it had the same great, meaty flavor.
