Usually when I order delivery, it’s alright. When it’s bad though it’s pretty terrible and they seem to try and not provide a lot of food.

They’ve found a clever new way to provide less food though for quesadillas I’ve never seen before. They just fold it in half again. Again usually the food is pretty good, but the lows just stand out so much more.

Horrible experience, went in at noon and it was insanely packed. That’s not even the reason i’m writing this review. The workers were shockingly disrespectful and rude, I don’t know what happened to customer service but it has clearly gone downhill. The people preparing the bowls were not only sloppy but also forgetful. They forgot my quesadilla which was literally my meal. They forgot to give me my meal! Crazy! Unfortunately that wasn’t even the worst part, the cashier was horrifyingly rude and straight up mean. It was busy, yes. But that is no reason to be yelling at your customer when asked for a water cup. Not only did she yell at me but the tone was extremely disrespectful and the attitude was disgusting. Rolled her eyes said “omg” when she handed me the cup. I was shocked at the way I was treated. Very very disappointing. One piece of advice for Old Sauk Chipotle, get some new employees.

Review: Chipotle’s Wholesome Bowl with Carne Asada
If you’re looking for a satisfying, low-carb meal that doesn’t sacrifice flavor, the Chipotle Wholesome Bowl with Carne Asada is a fantastic pick. While the Wholesome Bowl is essentially Chipotle’s simple keto/paleo friendly base—supergreens lettuce blend, salsa, and guacamole—the star of this dish is definitely the Carne Asada.
The steak itself is expertly seasoned, delivering a deep, smoky flavor with a tender texture. Chipotle does a great job ensuring the slices aren’t too thin, giving you a substantial, satisfying bite of beef with every forkful. Paired with the fresh crunch of the greens and the creamy richness of the guacamole, the bold flavor of the Carne Asada shines through, making every component feel intentional and fresh. If you found it tasty, you’re not alone—it elevates the standard bowl experience and turns a simple healthy lunch into a genuine treat.

This was my 3rd or 4th time going inside this location. I usually either am at a different location or do pickup but today I went inside to place my order. I recall the last couple of times that i’ve been at this location.I had the same feeling of being rushed and I hate that! And it’s always the same guy who I think might be a manager, because he’s older. I really don’t like that. And it just is very, not very customer friendly. I almost want to give him a break because there was a very inconsiderate couple a few in front of me that had four kids under the age of six! There were two parents, and yet they all were in line, and they were letting the kids pick what they wanted, and of course that took forever because, you know, how kids can be! Those parents, one of them should have sat down with the kids and the other go up and place the order for everybody. They should know what their kids like and want, or they should have gotten that straightened out before they even came inside of the store. So that added a lot more time than it had to. I really want parents to think hard about what i’m saying– is you do not let your toddlers pick their own menu or toppings when you are in a situation like that, it’s just not right. And it’s rude.I don’t know how people could be that stupid and inconsiderate as parents!! So in saying all of that, I give the guy a little bit of a break because they did hold up the line quite a long time. By the time I got up there, the people directly in front of me, which we’re probably about three people ahead of me, their orders went really quickly as did mine as well as the two people behind me. But this guy has a habit of rushing people. So even if it hadn’t been for that family, he still would have rushed people and I really don’t like it. I also complain because the portions are so inconsistent. You pay a lot of money for chipotle, and you should get your money’s worth! I know they can do better. So I hope they will do better. Very disappointing, and I don’t know how long it’ll be before I go back there or chipotle at all. Likely when I have a craving that I can’t fight because I don’t like spending that kind of money and being disappointed and unsatisfied.

Each time I go for takeout, it gets worse! Tonite the portions were SO SMALL that I decided to ask for more. The people behind the line weren’t very friendly (and it wasn’t very busy, so imo, no excuse for that) but the two young men at the register (seemed like one was being trained) were smiling and very friendly…which I appreciated. I love Chipotle, but will drive just a bit further and purchase from Mineral Point location from now on.

The food is consistent. The service is meh, and the cleanliness of the tables needs some serious attention. I will note that guy heating the tortillas was upbeat and spoke at a volume that was useful. EVERYONE else on the line was including the cashier needs some coaching.

I love chipotle. Unfortunately, on my visit today (8/7/25) the only good thing was the water cup. My food was severely under proportioned and everyone was scrubbing down the whole place with various chemicals. Closing time is 10, we were there before 9. I personally don’t want that in my food. Food was okay, but also when I paid in cash, the employee threw the change across the counter at me. He was a black haired, buff Italian man, who honestly, was glaring at me as I ordered, almost like I was disservicing him. No drizzling change please. Another man that was unprofessional, didn’t greet me, instead stated “what do you want.” Well obviously I want food. These two are a big reason I am not returning. I will be visiting the one on mineral point rd instead. This hurts me, please find a way to cater better to future people. (P.S the head nod didn’t work)

Best chipotle experience I’ve ever had! I live in Chicago and not surprisingly, I’m usually disappointed in the food I get at chipotle. This however actually tasted way better and the quantity was not lacking. Keep it up 🙂

I love chipotle – it is a quick dinner and I usually carry out from the Old Sauk location. However, tonight was awful – to a point I may not return. The food was COLD, not warm, not slightly warm, but COLD. As if the warmers were off. The portion was also half the size. I tried to call, but of course you can’t talk to a real person. Instead, they want us to submit a photo of the receipt and answer a bunch of unnecessary questions, which I did. $30 of wasted food.
Don’t waste your time, go nextdoor.

I’ve ordered delivery/pickup from this chipotle a few times and been incredibly disappointed by the quality each time. In the past, my orders are often completely wrong. When I call them, they say if I come back they can fix it, so i have to waste more of my own time for them to fix their own mistake.

My most recent experience with delivery has some photos attached. The portions are laughably small, and terribly put together. The salad had hardly any noticeable chicken, the bowl contents filled about 40% of the actual bowl, the tacos had some steak and toppings thrown onto a shell and smashed by a toddler in aluminum foil. All items arrived in an intact sealed bag from the courier.

The only reason I leave 2 stars is because if you go and order in person, the portions are great and the staff is friendly and attentive to the requests.

Its sad though that the only good experiences I’ve had here are when I’m ordering in person and watching them put my items together.

Otherwise, when ordering online for pickup or delivery, I’ve had a 0% success rate in either my order being correct at all, or being close to the quality youd expect from not just chipotle but any restaurant.
