Do not judge this place by how it looks. Yes it is a hole in the wall type restaurant but great food and the employees or owners are always very friendly. We usually get the 2 item meal and it never fails to be delicious. Great prices as well. Highly reccomend.

We ordered the 2- and 3-entree thalis so we could try more than one entree. To be honest, nothing really stood out from what we ordered. The rice was served cold, which wasn’t great. I would also recommend keeping the metal plates hot before serving, since the food cooled quickly. The service was okay, and they did check in on us. The interior is interesting and feels like a hybrid between a market and a restaurant. It gives off more of a takeout vibes than a dine-in one.

Great vibes! The staff were very friendly and the owner came out to introduce herself. They were very accommodating about spice! I don’t usually enjoy vegetarian food as much, but the channa masala was delicious. I tried mali kafta and butter paneer masala, which were also delicious but didn’t have much variance in flavor. I highly recommend trying out this local restaurant.

Last night was our first visit as a family, and this place is a gem! The food is authentic and fresh. You can see Shagan and her mother cooking in the back, while her daughter took our order at the counter. The whole family is friendly and welcoming and the food was fantastic. Best I’ve had in Kansas City. A true family run business. So glad we found it, and we’ll definitely be back! Thank you!

Although, I must confess… my favorite items on the menu are the chicken curry, Veg Korma and Yellow Dal transport me back to those family dinners halfway across the world. And don’t get me started on their Aloo Paneer Paratha—I gladly pay extra for it every time!

We tried it for the first time tonight. Every single element of this place is perfection. Ridiculously kind, thoughtful, attentive staff. The butter chicken, so incredible. The garlic naan, actually possibly the greatest food I’ve ever tasted. Rice, lovely. Samosas, very good, especially the crust. I’m a wuss so the spicy kick was maybe just a touch too much for my palette but for someone who can handle a moderate amount of spice, these are everything. The mint chutney was very good as well, I regret not asking them if they have a tamarind chutney as well. We will be coming back. We will be ordering 10 orders of the garlic naan.
