As the leaders in drive-thru for over 30 years Checkers & Rally’s locations are currently open and ready to serve our guests. We can provide our guests with the additional safety of an enclosed kitchen and limited personal contact – whether you choose to drive up, order ahead online, or have our food delivered. In response to concerns around the Coronavirus we have closed the few dining rooms that exist in the Checkers & Rally’s system and are limiting the number of people on our patio and at our walk-up windows. We are reinforcing our policies, including frequent and proper handwashing, along with the proper utilization and changing of gloves as we continue to serve our guests.

I haven’t eaten much here since they added the robot voice which just creeps me out. Which is why I was so surprised by how downhill it’s gotten. It took forever to get the food and it was all cold. The burger had more mustard and mayo on the outside than it did the inside (which is great because they didn’t give me any napkins at all) and the fries were lukewarm borderline cold. I can’t even say that the woman in the window was rude because she barely bothered to make eye contact with me to begin with. I don’t expect people to be upbeat and smiling when they’re working but I expect the basic decency to acknowledge my existence. She didn’t even speak a single word to me just took my card and then handed me my food without even a sorry for the wait. It might as well have been a robot in the window as well. I don’t think I’ll be coming back ever.

Rally’s is nothing fancy, but the prices are really fair. This location is also open late too, which is nice because most of the restaurants in this area of New Albany close at like 11 or earlier. It is nice to know there will be some quick grub available if I’m getting home late.

So I work at the place right next-door & I went to get something to drink. I ordered a large strawberry shake. I was told it was five dollars and some change. I counted out six crisp one dollar bills. I saw that the young lady had long fingernails so I said don’t worry about the change. You can keep it and I got ready to enjoy my cold strawberry milkshake. I was handed this as a large. I might be wrong but is the 20 ounce cup the large milkshake at rallies now for six dollars?? and anyway it tasted like chemicals plus no receipt and they just opened the window and jammed it at me so all in all I would say it was not a good experience.

We love Rally’s every time we give it a chance we end up disappointed and money wasted we order ahead every time to make things easier for us and the kitchen staff we stopped by last night on State Street location we passed many other food options hoping for a decent experience we knew better then to get our hopes up only one other car in the drive thru so I pulled up to the window the girl stared at me like I was bothering her and she didn’t want to be there. she gave us our order and we had faith in the other staff we got home to find the order was only trash worthy all of the sandwiches were covered with condiments that we specifically asked not to be removed the fries were hard and burnt I also paid extra for double cheeseburgers Do yourself a favor go elsewhere we will not be going back

Been to Rallys many times but my last visit left me wondering and in doubt. Im sure it will get another chance but if its not back to the quality I’d become accustomed to then Im not going back. The timing, the quality of food presented and the staff…everything was subpar. The young man who brought my food to me as I waited was the best thing I experienced that night. He was immediately apologetic and his sincerity was evident and heartfelt. He deserves a closer look.
