The service was excellent from start to finish. All the waiters made a real effort to give recommendations, explain the dishes in detail, and adjust the level of spiciness to personal taste, which is always appreciated. The food was very tasty, with a solid balance between flavor and authenticity. Portions were generous, and considering that, the quality-to-price ratio is very good. The atmosphere is simple and welcoming, with a subtle but effective Mexican touch that makes the place feel warm and genuine. Overall, a very satisfying experience.

A disappointing experience at Los Mexikas. Had the chicken soup, which unfortunately had a strange smell and tasted off, not good. The tacos were just okay, nothing memorable. This could have been bc they were closing the kitchen soon… not sure… The only highlight was the margarita, which was actually quite good. Overall, and though staff were super nice, I wouldn’t recommend this place based on my visit

Food and overall hygiene was bad, i couldn’t finish it. I wanted to leave once i ordered but it was too late. Not only was it so salty that you felt the salt between your teeth, it was also greasy and just bad quality- only ate two bites and the side salat. I told them its way too salty but they refused to put off the price for food that i didnt eat more than 2 forks of. I think they are buying good reviews, there is no way ppl actually enjoy the food there.

I thought I’ve actually arrived to Mexico when stepping into the local very colourful, well decorated and the right music. The tamarindo water and the horchada were delicious and freshly made (we took them twice). The food was delicious and the people were happy and smiling. If you really need to find an improvement point, you can pay just with cash – but it’s really a small thing.

One of the most authentic experiences I’ve ever had. The food is AMAZING!! I’ve been there twice in a week. The food is not even that pricey but it tastes like it’s not from this world. The waiters cannot even speak german they can only communicate in english, which was more than enough. Not speaking german should stay as a proof of how authentic this small and cosy family restaurant really is. A true hidden gem of Vienna. They also do live music there, and all the artists were very authentic.

Tasty food! On the menu they do not have any vegan options. They waitress was also a bit reluctant to accommodate me, but she asked the chef and they left out the cheese for my dish (which was not that difficult to do). The flavours were amazing! I would recommend getting the bean “mousse” as a side – so creamy! Some things to take into account – they only accept cash and the food takes a while to prepare.

We didn’t have a reservation but they did have a small window of allotted time and we’re able to squeeze us in,next time we will make a reservation! Highly recommend reservations!! The food here is phenomenal! Since there are not many options for Mexican food in Vienna and we are from the United States, which has Mexican and/or “Tex-Mex” food available basically on every corner, I crave it constantly. Knowing I can come here and get the real deal makes me so, so happy!! The food here is authentic and full of great flavor. The staff are friendly and the prices are reasonable.
