I really really wanted to like this place since La Tolteca is no longer open but literally the only item we liked was the refried beans. Our shrimp quesadilla (we’re pescatarian) had meat in it. The shrimp in both the quesadilla and the taco were so overcooked it was hard to chew and the pupusa was the single only pupusa I’ve ever disliked in my life bc it was so dry and hard. It also came with no pupusa fixings. So disappointed especially having paid over $50 to only take a bite out of everything.

Second location visited the taste is absolutely authentic this time I got chicken birria tacos and chorizo Empanadas I did not like them as much as the Sopes. I thought they were a little dry. I wish there was more cremma and cheese inside the Empanadas. Again there was that little plastic bag of delicious sauce but that bag is so hard to open and will definitely be a mess in the car it’s so spicy why not use a container. Definitely will get the Sopes they are my favorite. Tacos and empanadas was $28.00!

Service/Atmosphere: Typical food truck service. She didn’t speak English but I appreciate her using Google translate to make it work. We live during great times that she can share her delicious food with us without speaking the same language.
Food: It was fantastic and it hit the spot. Loved the jumbo quesadilla and Californian tacos (birria). The sauce the tortilla was grilled in was perfectly flavored. Lengua was delicious in the tacos. Carnitas were amazing in the quesadilla. Pricing was a little high but this spot was a real hidden gem. Would def recommend and return here.

I ordered online, but didn’t really read far into the reviews to realize it was a food truck. Hands down the best authentic Mexican food around, food truck OR restaurant! I made a mistake on my order, but they rushed and made me more PLUS added in an extra taco, even though it wasn’t their fault. That’s good business! Will absolutely be back!

Have a very deceptive order menu. Advertising tacos as in plural and spent over $60 on 6 orders according to door dash three tacos per order. They sent 6 total tacos and when I called to question the order the guy hung up. Absolutely disrespectful and me nor my company will be ordering here any more. Best just go to El Cabrito across the street.
