When I went to Nawabs Indian Cuisine, I expected nothing more than a local Indian Restaurant. God, I was wrong. To start, I was greeted with a true Indian atmosphere as I took my first steps inside the restaurant. I was seated promptly, and was given the opportunity to watch quite entertaining videos displayed on wide screen TVs. I ordered from an expansive menu, and decided with the butter chicken and garlic naan. I am not exaggerating when I say that this was the best butter chicken I have ever tasted, with warm tomato and chicken flavors. To add, the garlic naan was crunchy, tasty, and sent me back to India. I loved my server, Pinder, as he was nice, caring, and funny.

Nawabs Indian Cuisine, thank you for this heavenly experience. I WILL be coming back.

I wasn’t able to take a picture of our foods because we waited too long, imagine that! I was excited prior to going there because my hubby was craving for Indian foods.
Just a reminder that it would take awhile before your foods be served. So if you can’t wait and hungry, don’t be angry if foods were kinda late! other than that, it’s worth the wait because the food was great, the spice was not overwhelmingly hot!

Overall experience was great, I would still recommend them, specially the guy that served us (sorry didn’t catch your name :/ ) he was nice & hope you can set your vacation back home soon!

Namaste & shukria to all!

I live in St. Louis so I’m surrounded by many Indian restaurants, some are great and others are okay. I was visiting Springfield for work and as an Indian and a punjabi, I was super impressed with the quality of food here. Butter chicken with garlic naan, that’s a combo you can never go wrong with. I also tried the Goat Curry which was delicious with tender meat. The owner and server at the front counter both seemed very friendly. I’ll be definitely coming back to try other items on the menu while I’ll be in town for the next couple weeks! Highly recommend this place!!!

My 17 yo daughter and I came here for lunch. They had a buffet with fresh naan and delicious basmati rice. Tandoori chicken, onion picori(put ALL the sauces on it!), two vegetarian options, butter chicken, curry chicken, chicken tikki masala, and the mint sauce, tamarind sauce, and another one I can’t remember, all of it was delicious! The tandoori chicken was sooo tender! The dishes were all very flavorful and fresh, I was stuffed and had to go back for more butter chicken, it was seriously so good. Our waiter was very attentive and kept our water cups (hammered copper cups ) full. He told us the buffet changes daily, so I am looking forward to another lunch! And they have chai tea included in the buffet, it was not overly sweet and the perfect compliment to our meal. The restaurants decor was so cozy, it made lunch feel like an experience instead of a necessity. This is the best Indian restaurant I’ve eaten at in Springfield. Please come here, enjoy the setting, the food, the tea, and support this local business! It’s definitely worth your time!

The food was delicious. From the moment you walk in here the restaurant smells incredible and we knew it would be delicious. The service was good. It was a little slow to get the food but well worth the wait. You could tell everything was made when we ordered. The portions were good and we even had some leftovers. The only thing I would change is a little more rice with the entree but we took the leftovers and made rice at home to eat the rest. We will eat here again.

I can’t give an honest review about the food, I didn’t get a chance to sample it. I don’t know about the atmosphere as I didn’t get past the entrance. I made a reservation for 7:00 last night (for something different) I was told the food was good so I was prepared to enjoy a good experience with my date. We arrived at 6:51 and were immediately stopped at the door. I told the person who greeted us….(actually it was not so much a greeting as it was a big rude “stop” sign) that we had a 7:00 reservation for 2. They simply said they had no food, they had run out of food and it would be over an hour wait. They could not accommodate our 7:00. I doubt I’ll be making that mistake again. The least they could have done would have been to apologize.
Didn’t even get that!!!

I absolutely love this place. Great food! We got Paneer Tikka Masala, Chicken Tikka Masala, Veggie Samosas, garlic naan and the lentil thin bread that I can’t remember the name of. It was great as usual! I also love that the TV always is showing an Indian content creator that goes around tasting Indian food all over India. I want to eat everything she shows!

I think it’s my favorite Indian Restaurant in town. Such great paneer and the masala sauce is less tomatoey and a darker more spice. Just great.

Ordered Corn Palak with Paratha and Roti (hot spice level) via Uber Eats. Delivery was super fast—faster than my hunger

Loved the Corn Palak, nicely spiced and comforting. Between Paratha and Roti, Paratha clearly won the match .

I’ll be trying more items soon and will keep updating here.

Update:
Tried Veg Manchurian and Veg Fried Rice. Flavors were there, but my expectations were somewhere else. Not bad, just not my kind of Indo-Chinese. I’ll give this duo a skip next time.

Update :

Malai Kofta was on sweeter side even at Hot spice level. There was a strong cinnamon flavor which I didn’t liked . Both Onion Paratha and Garlic naan were good. Veg pakoda was also not good and was not able to finish anything. I am getting more dishes to skip next time than to add in list.

Fantastic food and a great experience overall. The flavors were rich and authentic, the curry and naan were especially good, and the service was friendly and quick. I also have to mention how spotless the bathrooms were, which really says a lot about the care they put into the place. Clean, welcoming, and absolutely worth coming back to.

We came to eat last Friday night, but they were so busy that we decided to try another time. We ordered to go tonight and I am so glad we did! This is some of the best Indian food I’ve had! It is worth the longer wait you may experience. So so good!! And such nice people too. ☺️
