Decent food, the waitresses have low energy. It’s like they don’t want to be there. Atmosphere is ok, the bar isn’t wiped clean regularly. The quietest sports bar that I’ve ever been to.

Very good food and even better service. I was there on week nights so it wasn’t crowded. Food orders came very quickly. 20 taps plus bottles so plenty of beers to choose from. Lots to do here, pool tables, darts, Thursday night poker etc.

Service is great from my experience. Food sucks, beer is warm, and new manager sucks. She sits in the corner and eats instead of interacting with customers. Had several bad experiences with her.

Food is super good. Fries are the best I’ve had in a long time. The buffalo chicken salad is huge!

Stopped by this place while staying at hotel next door. I had the fried rice, and I was impressed. Service was very attentive, and I was always checked back on. Prices are reasonable and fair. I would definitely visit again on my next trip out therr.

this place is way underrated. It’s way quieter than Ojo Locos. Started coming here just because I couldn’t take the level of the music over there. I have a huge variety of food that so far is all been quite good. There’s pool tables and plenty of seating.

I realize that Sports Bars aren’t usually something you’d see on a food blog, but Wild Pitch, with locations in Frisco and Fort Worth, is dishing up a serious curve ball to what you normally see on a sports bar menu!

Of course, you’ll find Burgers, Wings and Pizza, and can get Fried Pickles or Mozzarella Sticks, but the choices go FAR BEYOND that, and the flavors will have you wondering why you’ve always settled for anything else.

Here is a review of some of the newest items to hit the menu:
Texas Tomato Soup (GF) – While I’m not usually a tomato soup person, this must be tried to appreciated! It’s simple, creamy and satisfying with a depth of flavor that has you going back for more. It’s jalapeno and bell pepper infused, and garnished with a couple thin slices of jalapeno. It’s served with a few tortilla chips or you can have it with a Caesar or side salad, but I just want to fill a thermos with it!

Lettuce Wraps (GF) – Three iceburg lettuce wraps filled with chopped chicken, shitake mushroom and red & green bell pepper. It’s a fresh, light appetizer or lunch as is, but I asked for some sriracha that really brought all the flavors to life.

Mushroom Swiss Burger – Full disclosure, I don’t usually order burgers at sports bars, primarily because they’re usually disappointing, but this burger could change my mind. Regardless of the toppings you select, these are thick, meaty burgers, cooked to your chosen doneness, and packed with flavor. The outside of the burger has a char flavor that can only be achieved with a very hot grill. It seals in the flavor while the center remains tender.

The Ryan Express – Like it’s namesake Hall of Fame pitcher, this pizza brings the heat! Alfredo sauce, cheddar & mozzarella, diced chicken, pickled jalapenos and blackening spice makes this a one-of-a-kind pizza. The alfredo sauce politely gets out of the way as the blackening spice comes in high & tight on your taste buds. The crust is thin and chicken diced small to again let the fastball of the spice be the main attraction. While hot, it’s not overwhelming, so don’t be afraid to dig in – but maybe have your favorite cold beverage in the on deck circle (too much baseball jargon?)

Mahi-Mahi (GF) – Now I’m going to hit you with the change-up. The mahi can be ordered either with Lemon-Dill or Blackened Seasoning and served with two sides. A light yet flavor-packed dish with a complexity of savoriness and acidity that will keep your calorie count down in case the game goes into extra innings.

Honey Sriracha Grilled Shrimp (GF) – Eight shrimp served on 2 skewers and served with your choice of two sides. These are plump, delicious shrimp that draw sweetness from the honey, spicy from sriracha and savory from the grill. I’ve rarely had shrimp this good. These must be waved over the grill, because they were beautifully cooked. Shrimp cooks so fast, that they’re often over-cooked and tough, but these were outstanding.

Signature Fried Rice – These are cooked to order – and it shows – with garlic butter, onion, soy sauce, egg and choice of Chicken, Shrimp, Beef, Veggie or (my selection) Korean BBQ Pork Belly!! This is truly one of the best fried rice dishes I’ve ever had. The rice is just right, the egg is light and fluffy (obviously not made ahead of time) and garnished with some fresh scallion, but the star is the pork belly. Savory, sweet and rich in flavor. I could eat this several times a week.

This is just a sampling of the great food that is served up at Wild Pitch. If you’re a traditionalist, the wings are really good, and they offer many tasty sandwiches, but they also have a large selection of sushi and sashimi. There really is something for everyone, and everything is delicious. You will not be disappointed by this food.

I had heard some good things about this place from a couple of co-workers but was not very impressed after entering. To be quite honest, it’s kind of trashy. Our waitress seemed to be very good at her craft. She identified herself as Katy. She was kind, polite, and served with a smile. She interacted with us very well. We were pleased with her and sad to see her leave, but her shift was done. Then, I get a call from my boss – who foot the bill – to tell me little Ms. Katy had left this place with his card. That’s correct. She took it home. Crafty!!!

Twin peaks is right next-door. I decided to give them a try because I never heard of it. And I didn’t feel like being in a crowd. Food was terrible ordered street tacos no lemon or lime on the side no sauce it was so so dry and no Sauce I had to put my sweet potato fries in it to give it some taste. Ordered a Long Island iced tea it was So bad I gave it back and asked for a top shelf which they could not make because they didn’t have on alcohol. Ordered a crown and Coke and honestly I said and water down about 50%. For me and one star is too much. The pretty young ladies, do not make the drinks taste any better or food tasting any better you guys really gotta do better.

Friendly staff and a good atmosphere. I have mixed opinions about the food from this place. I enjoyed their boneless wings here (or mini chicken tenders). However, I was disappointed that they don’t have backup staff to cook and prepare all of their menu option, so if someone is out sick then that whole part of the menu is unavailable. While this place is clean some other areas appear not to be. I would rate this place a 4 but something out of integrity it doesn’t quite meet that.
