This restaurant has been remodeled inside and out. The food is great and the waitress was friendly and attentive to drink refills and if we needed anything else. We come here quiet often and like the atmosphere. The music is not so loud and you can meet with family and friends and catch up. I would recommend the California skillet or the club sandwich. The grown up grill cheese with tomato basil soup is great too.

This is one of my favorite restaurants to eat at after church on Sundays. I have only ordered breakfast and is usually perfect. On rare occasions my “eggs over hard” were still a bit runny or my “crispy bacon” was still a bit limp, or the French toast was a bit mushy but it was still delicious it’s just I’m boujie. The food is fresh and the staff are super. We’re always greeted by friendly staff and so welcoming. The restaurant has recently been completely renovated so it’s obvious the owners care and want to stay relevant. I have never bought their pies, but today I took it to-go. This is my local go-to for breakfast if my hubby and I go out early in the morning with time to enjoy a breakfast out. You should too!!!

About two years ago, I may not have recommended this place. After returning, I can say it’s definitely improved immensely since then! The food was delicious, and they’re selling really cool shirts for breast cancer awareness! Highly recommend!

Had a wonderful brunch with my grandmother and her friend who suggested this place. It was my first time and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Our server was wonderful! I wish I remembered her name (long brown hair, young woman) she was so friendly and effortlessly provided great service, suggested what I should try, was timely and refreshed our beverages before they were halfway through so we never had to ask, brought everything we could have potentially needed beforehand so we wouldn’t have to wait, she seemed to be the main (if not the only) server on the floor that day. She had perfect timing with every check in and wasn’t overly invasive and didn’t rush us, allowing us to have a lengthy brunch where we could all catch up without any pressure. I only mention that aspect because it’s not often I spend such a long duration at a restaurant and I truly appreciate her service. She helped create a great atmosphere for my girls day brunch and I can’t express enough how impressed I was with her. She was outgoing, skillful and had multiple regulars from what I noticed and based on my experience I completely understand why!
Unfortunately this is a late review as I forgot to post that day, I really wanted to thank her specifically. Hopefully this review will help narrow it down.

The food was great. Our meals came out quickly and without any issues. All had great quality and fresh ingredients! I love the menu selection and look forward to trying out new items next time I visit. The overall atmosphere was good, clean and easily accessible. I enjoyed my visit and will go again soon.
Thank you again to our server!

Jaycee was the sweetest!! She cared for our table and wasn’t over bearing with her check ins. Literally the best server I could’ve asked for! The food was so good and she offered to take pics and they were so fun.

My wife and I had breakfast skillets and pancakes that were delicious and fresh. Coffee was hot and they had a choice of creamer. Shelby was our waitress and she did a great job.
Dining area and bathrooms were very clean.

I recently visited the Village Inn under its new ownership, and I’m thrilled to say it’s a complete turnaround from past experiences! The new owner has clearly put their heart into revitalizing this classic spot. The restaurant was spotless, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely seemed to enjoy their work, which made all the difference.
The menu still has all the beloved Village Inn staples, but the food quality has noticeably improved—everything from the fluffy pancakes to the savory skillets was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. I also appreciated the little touches, like updated decor and faster service, which show the new owner’s commitment to making this place shine. It’s clear they’ve addressed previous issues head-on, and the result is a delightful dining experience. I’m already looking forward to my next visit—kudos to the new team for breathing new life into this Village Inn!

Renovations don’t make the recipe. 32.00 for breakfast and coffee for two people! Absurd Could barely hear my wife over the loud music, the atmosphere was terrible. Never coming back. The staff was very nice and friendly but you can’t make 2 eggs 2 slices of bacon and 3 pancakes for 15.00 make sense to me. 4oz of chicken fried steak 3oz of gravy and 2 eggs for 18.00? Why? I’m getting really tired of eating out in the South.

While visiting my Parents, I remembered eating at another village inn years ago. I remember the food was good and desserts.
So I stopped here one day with my Mom for lunch.
The place was quiet just a few other tables but it was clean and bright.
The first thing I found on the menu was a appetizer of Fried green tomatoes!
They were delicious!! We both enjoyed them.
Them we thought we would get a salad and sandwich and share both.
Everything was fresh and lots to eat.
We ended up taking the salad home because the sandwich and fried green tomatoes filled us up.
Our waiter was nice and on top of everything.
We would for sure come back. Very enjoyable lunch.

First time trying it. Food was fast and delicious, and the perfect amount! Staff was super friendly and everything looked clean and cozy. If there was one thing I’d say, the floors felt a bit slippery like it needed a good thorough mop/steam. Besides that, everything was perfect and we’ll definitely be coming back!
