Unfortunately, most of the dishes were below par. The deep-fried tarot duck looked promising but turned out dry and bland inside, with an overly thick, hard batter. The clay pot frog legs was heavy and greasy, with a one-note salty sauce that masked the other ingredients. The mixed mushrooms and tofu dish lacked seasoning and freshness — the sauce felt starchy and dull. The spicy beef in chili oil, usually a highlight, tasted flat and oily without the usual numbing kick or aroma. Even the roasted meats platter, normally reliable, was lukewarm and tough, with dipping sauce that didn’t help much.
Overall, it felt like the kitchen was off its game — tired flavors, sloppy execution, and nothing truly enjoyable. Definitely not worth the price or calories.
But the services were great with good traditional Chinese restaurant vibe.

A big celebration for my family’s village association! The atmosphere was lively and lots of guests gathered far and wide! The food was delicious and hearty, and all served very efficiently. The waitresses were very helpful and served our needs very well!!

The food is nice. The atmosphere is good. The only thing is the decoration on the stage is dangerous. We were assigned to sit on the stage, and due to the limit space, one of the head hit the wings of the phoenix when trying to sitting down…

Ocean Tresaure Seafood Restaurant is an old and long history Chinese Restaurant in Greengate Industrial Estate, Middleton, Manchester.
This restaurant has a very traditional Chinese upholstery with Chinese antique furniture and decoration. A spacious dining hall which it can occupy any banquet by over 40 tables.
The Chinese dim sums are good worth having a long – time driving taken from the City centre to there. We took the bus 117 from the Oldham Street bus terminal but it had at least a 30-minute travel. When in return, it is advisable to better have the bus 112 which takes a shorter travel time.
This Restaurant has a praise of mouth from gourmets by its friendly and nice staff, quality of dim sums, fried rice, fresh and live lobsters etcs and a comfortable dining hall sitting in.

This is our “Go To” Chinese restaurant, amongst the best I have visited in my travels over many years. If you enjoy Chinese food, you will be impressed by the quality here.
The dim sum are delicious with lovely textures and delicate pastry (where appropriate). The spare ribs are very meaty and accompanied by well-judged seasoning or sauces. On this visit our crispy duck course was very generous and superbly cooked – moist duck flesh and crispy skin. The main courses were beautifully flavoured, such that it required much discipline to resist over-eating but to request carry-out boxes for the leftovers. Finally, the fried rice is the best I have seen anywhere; it is moist, separated and free-flowing, with no hint of oil.
We were welcomed immediately when we arrived. We were given the nearest suitable table for our group which included an infirm, elderly relative, without any reference to their mobility. The staff were very polite and friendly throughout the meal and we were never rushed but enhiyed simply well-timed, attentive service.
We will return for another banquet lunch.

Really nice Cantonese dim sum, quality was good. They also brought around custard egg tarts and char siu parcel pasties off the cart which is a nice touch, we don’t see the cart going around like dim sum serving used to be back in the day. Overall, good place that we can recommend – free parking as well.

We visited this restaurant at 12:12, on 4-1-2026. My father was a blue badge holder. When we arrived, I saw that one of the two disabled parking bays was occupied by a car, reg. WJ67 YEX, which did not have a blue badge displayed on the dashboard. I asked the car park attendant about that car, and he told me that the car belonged to the boss of the restaurant. I don’t care if he was the boss, if the parking bay was for blue badge holders, he/she either needs to display a blue bage（if he/she has one), or should not use the disabled parking bay. Please respect the rules in the UK.
