Really quite disappointed in my food tonight. I got a kids meal and it consisted of cold soup and a fruit cup with 3 apple slivers, 2 grapes and a few strawberries and blueberries. Not so impressed.

I ordered the Try 2 Combo with a Honey Bacon Club and a Lobster Bisque. The sandwich is my favorite on the menu, and the lobster bisque and tomato basil are both great soup options.
The service is friendly and helpful. The biggest variation you’ll find is the size of your chocolate strawberry. The restaurant gets pretty full during peak hours. One recommendation: avoid parking near the drive thru for In-N-Out or you might find yourself having to muscle your way out of your spot. Overall, this is a good Cafe Zupas location and I’ll be back.

Very disappointed in the staff. We walked in around 8:30 p.m. on a Friday night, and they were not busy at all—no line, just four employees behind the counter talking. It took several minutes before they even acknowledged we were there.
We ordered a sandwich with pesto and were told they didn’t have any. After changing our order, they took it and then went back to talking again. It took at least 10 minutes to prepare two sandwiches, a salad, and a bowl of soup.
While we were waiting, a woman asked for butter since there was none available. It took about a minute for someone to get it for her. When we sat down, none of the tables had been wiped, dishes were overflowing, garbage was on the floor, and the utensil and lid stations were empty.
Eventually, someone came out to clear dishes. She used a dirty washcloth to wipe the tables, brushing crumbs onto the floor instead of properly cleaning. Overall, the staff appeared disengaged and unmotivated. Very few employees seemed to be working at all.
If you are going to hire staff, they should be properly trained and know how to treat customers with basic respect.

I had an amazing experience at Zupas. I already love their food, but the customer service made this visit the best one yet. Emma was absolutely incredible. When they ran out of chocolate-dipped strawberries, she personally dipped fresh ones for us and made sure we had everything we needed. She truly went above and beyond. I highly recommend stopping by this location. We will definitely be coming back!

The last two times I’ve done a pick up order I’ve been given bad food. Last time I had a moldy strawberry, and today dry sandwich bread and a rock hard roll.

Ordered a kids meal online for lunch, said it would be ready at 1:39pm, it wasn’t ready until 2:15!!! Waited 35 minutes….. I left, went to In n Out, got my food, ate it, then when I was done doing that, my food at Zupas was finally ready. You’re better off going in and standing in line, they make that food first before online orders. Oh and then the drink machine wasn’t working either. I’m glad I had a 2 hour lunch today….

This is probably some of the worst service I’ve ever experienced. We came in on Dec 26 around lunch time to be greeted after a few minutes of no contact. The employees were focused and talking to their manager about what ice cream they wanted from Handel’s. After we gave them our order, which was a try 2 combo with a Honey Bacon Club and a Mediterranean Protein Bowl, the lady asked us what we had and I told her that same thing. They put an extra sandwich on our tray and I realized that they may have overcharged me. I asked for a receipt and, realizing she got caught, said that she accidentally charged me for an extra sandwich and to remedy it they can “just give us the sandwich”. I said no and asked them to refund me. They said the manager was busy (presumably busy ordering ice cream for the team) and to come back after eating to get my refund. When we started eating, I also noticed that my Honey Bacon Club had no tomatoes (that sandwich has 4 ingredients, how do you miss this???). I went back to tell the manager about what had happened, she had no remorse or care to take care of the situation, and when I told her my Honey Bacon Club had no tomatoes on it, she just offered to make us “another sandwich”. Lastly, when we went to throw our trays away from eating, the trashcan was overfilled and heaping, which left customers to leave their trash and trays on 5 EXTRA TABLES. This staff was probably the worst staff I’ve ever seen.

This location is so annoying. Every time I want food here, I order on the app for pickup and set the pickup time for at least fifteen minutes before I’m going to be there, and they still never have it ready by the time I get there! I’m left standing there for a while and do not feel like the employees care at all. I think my record for waiting for my food is like twenty minutes when I was running late for a movie. Do you guys just not pay enough, so the only employees you attract are unmotivated, under trained teenagers who are only going to be there for three months? This Cafe Zupas has much worse service than others I’ve been to. I like the food (though sometimes they put in incorrect ingredients just to have fun with me, feels like) because I like Zupas, but something needs to be done.
Looking at the other reviews, it seems like an AI is responding and including a link to a customer help site. Do y’all even look at these? Does corporate know how terrible this location is?
I looked it up, and apparently Cafe Zupas got investment from a private equity firm in 2023, so I guess this is what it’s going to be like from now on. They don’t want to pay people enough to provide good service. They’ll just squeeze every dollar they can out of a good idea and file for bankruptcy within ten years. Oh well

This sandwich is what I would consider “inconsequential”. The meat-to-bread ratio is waaaaayyy off. Find somewhere else to eat if you want more protein substance than carbs. Sorry Zupas. Might be ok for kids, but not for me if this is your standard.

I dined in today and ordered a honey bacon club. At checkout things were slow and delayed causing sandwiches to sit on the counter. When I received my food and sat down to eat, the sandwich was fridge cold (this is a grilled sandwich mind you). After sampling my husband’s grilled sandwich (which was warm) I went to the counter to request a replacement. Staff was friendly and willing to replace it, however work flow problems caused my sandwich to sit yet again on the counter for a while before I received it. The second sandwich was barely warmer than the first and still not as warm as my husband’s. Staff pressed hard with their gloved hand on my sandwich as they handed it over and said “I hope that’s warm enough for you” which clearly was barely room temperature.
The workflow issues at this location left me frustrated. My party had already finished their food by the time I had received my replacement sandwich and staff offered no further solutions. With the cost of food getting higher, it’s unfortunate the quality is declining. As someone who does not live in Utah I do look forward to my trips and going to Zupas. This location was a big miss.
