We went to dinner at Safari tonight and there was a fly in our food. I normally would never leave a review for a restaurant even if we had a bad experience. However, the manager never came to our table to apologize and no discount was offered. We will not be returning .

Went on a Tuesday when they opened at 5:00 for Maw Maws B-Day. Didn’t think would be that crowded. Place was full by 6:00 with a line out the door. I can see why…….Outstanding food and service at a fair price. Chino did a fantastic job as well as being very personable. Everything we ordered was really good. Stand outs…. The Butter Pretzel , Southern Shrimp & Grits & Pork Rib Eye (Best ever. Trust the description.). Shrimp Cocktail, Large fresh tasting not soggy & Cocktail Sauce W/ a kick.

I am editing my post from 4 stars to 3 stars sadly. We have been coming to Safari Miles for a while now and they have started nickel and diming their customers for everything. $2 for a second bread on the table? Really? Safari Miles has good food for the price. They have good daily specials as well. We enjoy the variety of food offered and the bar area is nice to watch a game and have dinner.

I have been here a few times, mostly for the bar. You can’t go wrong with alcohol… however the food was terrible. The French onion soup taste like no other French onion soup I have ever had. The marinara for the mozzerella sticks is from what I can tell jarred and/or poorly made. The appetizer sampler was just terrible. I believe all was bagged frozen. The pictures speak for themselves. I was generous on my rating as the server was sweet and quickly corrected a mistake that was 100% our fault. I didn’t try any main dishes however I’m not to eager to after this experience.

First time here and we had a wonderful experience! Seated quickly even though they were busy. Had the clam chowder was smooth and not too rich. The onion blossom was a great starter; came out quickly and not too greasy meaning that the oil was hot enough to do the job without soaking into the onion.
The Safari Pasta was outstanding! Reach and creamy sauce and cooked perfectly. My fried shrimp were done perfectly as well! Crispy but not oily at all!
Our server, Giovana, was one of the pest servers I’ve had at any restaurant! She was there, but not pushy! Well worth the tip!

Today is my birthday and I wanted to try somewhere new. I found this hidden (to me) gem. The filet was amazing, the fried mushrooms and soup were on point, the service was unmatched! Heidi V was the most attentive server I have had in
awhile.
The specials of the day also topped the cake.
The manager also checked in on us and provided me with a safari hat for birthday pictures!

The food was ok! Not what was described the pasta was cooked nice and aldente, but the flavor and lobster were not there.
They were not properly organized for the amount of traffic that was coming in and started to ignore the customers, and when I walked up to the customer host stand the first person told me to wait, so I waited then approached the second one and before I said anything she told me that it was going to be a very long time before we can get a table.

I used to hate eating here back in 2014 & 2015. The past couple of years has been a big turnaround. Had a brand new waitress, first night on the job. She and her trainer did an excellent job. Had the 8oz sirloin. It was thick and delicious. Ask for medium rare, came out medium but the taste was delicious so I didn’t say anything. You should definitely try the restaurant.

Our server was absolutely amazing. Keep glass filled. Was in knowledgeable to the menu and if he didn’t know I feel sure he would inquire… I had the Safari Pasta came with a salad that’s was colorful as well as delicious. The pasta dish was creamy and full of flavor. The fried mushrooms were delicious and my husband enjoyed his meal too . He had a mushroom melt burger and potato wedges. Sadly I didn’t take any photos but I believe this is a great place for a date night.
