It has been several years since I have dined here in which I have many times but this is the first time making a review because really felt the need to let others know of the five star treatment today. The management obviously have really trained their staff extremely well, very courteous, kind and very attentive. It all started being greeted by the host that set up a nice window seat dining for us.
Our waiter named Taylor was absolutely five star phenomenal. Extremely kind and always came to check on us. He made sure everything was perfect to accommodate any food/diet restrictions!!!! Even when my friend’s steak that he felt was not cooked right(medium rare), Taylor offered to have it redone but I was able to convince my friend that the steak is indeed medium rare. Point of bringing this up is bc you can tell the amazing attitude of Taylor that would even side with a customer that is completely wrong and wouldn’t want to contradict him/her. I told my friend just eat it and IF you don’t like it…I will pay BUT I assured him this steak was 100% medium rare and correctly cooked. He enjoyed it lol. Anyways… You only find this type of high level service at a 5 star hotel or establishment.
If you haven’t tried this location do yourself a favour and definitely try. The food was absolutely fabulous and bc of the outstanding service…will be back more often 🙂

Going to Anthony’s restaurants for Valentines/Galentines dinner has become a tradition for me and my best friend 🙂 The service here is always amazing and the whole place has a great atmosphere. Food is always great, and the three course dinner from 3:00pm-5:30pm is such a good deal! Just a really nice place overall, I’m even obsessed with the restrooms cause of the ambience lol

We visited Anthony’s Hearthfire grill for my parents bdays and the food was solid. So was service. I got the pork chop and my hubby got the lingcod. My toddler had the salmon meal. My toddler’s meal was pretty big size for a kids meal. Can’t complain. I tried it out and it was nicely charred like it was bbqed. My pork chop was unfortunately dry. I don’t blame the restaurant. I think it’s just how it is for all pork chops. The sauce/condiment on the pork helped with everything. It complimented the pork chop with sweetness. My husband thought the lingcod was alright. We all enjoyed the calamari and the prawns more than our mains. Overall, was a good restaurant for a special family event.

I met up with a friend I hadn’t seen in a long time at this place, and the environment was absolutely beautiful. The bread served before the meal and the dessert afterwards were particularly memorable. The main course, however, wasn’t my favorite due to personal taste.

I think this is a wonderful place to come for ambiance, nestled up above the marina and always thoughtfully presented in terms of the venue (e.g. lots of poinssettas on display at Christmas) and the plating of dishes. The waitstaff is always friendly, and I have brought guests here for almost two decades. However, it has become much more seafood forward over the years along with its excellent cuts of meat; it could use more lighter fare on the menu like a reuben sandwich or more non-seafood appetizers for a place with the name “grill” in its name.

Dinner was very nice. I had the filet which I requested cooked medium as often restaurants will slightly under cook but this was cooked exactly medium.
As a single diner, service is often not the best, and here was no exception. No refill of my empty water or coffee (coffee, I was offered a refill well after my cup was empty and I was ready to leave). My steak arrived before I had a chance to order wine.
The view is unparalleled. I highly recommend getting here for dinner a bit before sunset to see it while you’re enjoying dinner.
Overall 3.5 stars. Dinner, including a cocktail and wine plus dessert and coffee was well over $100. Service should be better.

This was a fantastic experience. We stopped here for dinner on our way back home to Vancouver (Canada). The last 2 weeks had been very trying (my mother had passed away & we flew into Seattle from Minneapolis & stayed at a terrible hotel). Friends from Vancouver recommended this place. The drive from the highway gave us a good drive through downtown Bellingham that showed us a great glimpse of the city.
The restaurant is nestled in an interesting part of town. The ambiance is soothing, the service impeccable, the food delectable & the view breath-taking.
We both had one of the pre-set menu options (one for $33 and one for $36. From the $36 options, I had the Coho salmon & risotto, with a Greek salad to start – it seems that it comes with bacon on it automatically with no mention of it on the menu. I’m a pescatarian, so I had to send I back. It was great without it. There are no big, hard to stab, croutons, but there was definitely a crunchy wafer or something in there, which I really prefer. For dessert I had something call the Jar Pie. Mine was a chocolate w/Bailey’s something with a chocolate cookie crust. VERY DELICIOUS but not too big.
My husband had Portobello mushroom medley with other veg & whipped potatoes. The sauce on the side was some sort of soy sauce. He is watching his sodium intake, so they were kind enough to give him the option to use as little as he wanted. For his appetizer he had a different take on shrimp cocktail that was mini shrimp with cocktail sauce on top & then celery below. Sorry, no photos of the salad or shrimp cocktail. For dessert, he had a Pumpkin Spice & Pecan Jar Pie.
We swapped bites on the main & dessert & everything was scrumptious!

Three of us came at 5:00 on a Saturday afternoon, and it’s a good thing we got there early! This is a very popular place and shortly after we arrived, it was completely full. The dramatic entryway, with its fire-topped fountain, sets the stage, and you enter by the area where meat is being turned on a spit over the flames. The view over the Bay is spectacular, particularly at sunset, and virtually every diner can see the water.
Service was prompt, professional, and friendly. The list of wines and beers on tap offered us drinks we enjoyed. The food was outstanding! I ordered the flank steak with chipotle lime butter — cooked exactly as I requested — and the complement of cranberry jalapeño lime relish with it was exquisite. The cornbread pudding was also delicious!
The dessert menu was tempting, but we had other plans.
This was an altogether outstanding meal and lovely experience, and I’ll be back next time I’m in this part of the world.

I’ve been going to Anthony’s since they opened their location here. I usually stop by for lunch or to host small business get togethers. Every once in a while I hit up the dinner service. Monday night my wife and I decided to go out and the experience was pretty lackluster. I reserved for seven and the foh manager was great, as was the hostess who seated us. Our server seemed like she didnt show up that day. Didn’t introduce herself or tell us about any specials or any normal pleasantries you expect from upper level dining. I’m not asking for the red carpet to be rolled out but I’m not grabbing a bite to go, I’m spending $200 dollars on dinner for two. Our drinks took 20 minutes to show up and the bread was 10 minutes after that. Apps, 20 minutes later. I get that things get busy but this was a Monday night with maybe 6 tables when we ordered. App was cold, bread was cold. My wife ordered petite sirloin with the crab Oscar. She spent the entire meal spitting out shells. I would have said something but I was never asked how anything went or how it was going, nothing. Server checked on us one time literally 1 minute after bringing the entrée’s. Then it was here’s your check thanks bye. My steak was complete uneven. One side medium rare and the other well done. Luke warm veg, mash was like glue. The petite sirloin was about as petite as it gets, my spoon early hides it. hope its a one off but definitely not what you want with the price of eating out these days.
